Yes, you can. Just be careful, anchor the base of the stem, and gently bend the main stem slightly, don't force it, even if you only get a little bend, it will be fine. Just remember, there is no exact method to LST, each plant is different, the end goal is to keep the canopy as even as possible through constant adjustments until early flower stretch is done (about 2 weeks into flower).
