This is my second grow and first in Coco/perlite
11-10-20 - Seeds were placed in paper towel and a zip lock bag
13-10-20 Seeds were planted in final pot
15-10-20 All seeds sprouted
Germinated 4 seeds using the paper towel method,, 2 Green Crack Auto and 2 OG Kush Auto's , both GC germinated in 24 hours but only 1 OG Kush germinated, I Put another OG Kush in some fresh paper towel and it germinated in 24 hours but did not plant until 48 hours later so it will be a couple days younger than the rest but i will just treat it as the same age as the others.
Had some rain the last couple of days so so just re fed until 30% run off.
Feeding every day until run off
** Using tap water with a ppm of 80** The ppm values i include in the diary are not inclusive of this.
23-10-20 8 days after sprouting and they're starting to take off, all is looking good so far - watering until i see some run off
24-10-20 They have liked the increase feeding from yesterday, had some rain during the night so moved them inside so that it would not flush the nutrients, forecast is showers for the next 5-6 days unfortunately. I will be moving them in and out as needed.
Tomorrow i will be adding CMX Cal mag to the daily feeding schedule
Contemplating if i should start watering every other day instead until they hit the 4 week mark only to save on nutes but ill see.
1-11-20 - Day 16 and things are looking good, It has rained the last 7 days so not to much to report, I am still taking them inside as needed.
Added Calmag to the feeding schedule 5 days ago - it increases my PPM by 200 but not including it in the above figure, i am staying mindful of the increased nitrogen though
Bought a Mars hydro TS600w as backup for those raining days which they have been under for the last 14 hours.
2-11-20 Had the girls under the new light for 24 straight hours due to shitty weather, however the Forecast is sunny for the next 3 days so they will be enjoying the beautiful sunshine!
I have been varying the PH between 5.7 and 6.2
4-11-20 The ladies have loved the last 3 days out in the sun, today was 26c and they showed their appreciation by praying all day, I plan to LST sometime week 4, we'll see how they look.
Need some help identifying these brown/gold spots, it had them on really early growth but was fine until now and they're slightly showing again. Feeding 500pm maxigrow and 0.7ml/L CMX calmag. PH is an average of 5.9.
If your diary is accurate and you are giving .79 gallons every day, then I would say you are overwatering. When a plant is 3 weeks old in that size pot it should be taking a good 3-4 days to dry that pot out. Not waiting until the pot has dried enough will certainly cause spots to appear, and it would also explain why you had them when they were younger also. She will show you if she gets too dry, so many people overwater, remember most of the time less is more. Wait until that pot is very light before watering. Happy growing.
10-11-20 Started LST
14-11-20
Here we are at day 29 and things are looking healthy.
- Had some minor issues with what turned out to be over watering but i let the coco dry out for a few days and now i am watering/feeding every second day. One of the OG's has shown sex (Female) but the other 3 plants have not yet, also note all seeds are feminised.
- Expecting(hoping) some explosive growth the next couple of weeks if weather permits.
- Going to continue LST training.
- Fed 3/4 dose of Seasol just for shits and giggles, thought it could help out the roots but we'll see.
- I will be increasing the MAXIGRO nutes to 550-600 PPM starting tomorrow
15-11-20
- Watered at 550 PPM
- went to tie the tops down again and i snapped one of them below the last node, was very surprised how easily it snapped off, I had barely any pressure on it. The other 3 went fine. FUCK.
19-11-20
- Increased the Feeding to 680 PPM and will stay at this level until the flower stretch is pretty much over and then start the Bloom nutes. Also still using calmag with every watering.
- Gave the plants a good flush (about 15L each) at the above nutrient level.
20-11-20
- Here we are at Day 35 and things are looking fantastic. GC1 is starting to show some preflowers (top right plant in photo) The OG that i broke the top off got over it in a couple days and is now growing 4 tops.
- Noticed white marks on some leaves that look to be cause by mites so i will be giving all the girls a good spraying of Neem Oil and repeating every few days
Week 6 and the girls are doing great, The 2 green crack babes didn't mess around going into flower just a few days after showing sex. The 2 OG Kush still yet to show any preflowers.
Green Crack - I've started transitioning from GRO to BLOOM nutes - 50/50. I will do one more feed like this then start full bloom.
OG Kush - Will continue feeding GRO nutes at 680-700 PPM
Ended up doing a little more LST on the OG's, just to spread out and even up the side growth.
Temps are getting warmer and they're starting to drink a lot more, it will be 40c today (28/11/20) so ill keep an eye on them and may put them under cover.
Been finding small caterpillars on the Green crack buds so inspecting daily and picking them off.
Running in to a caterpillar problem, leaves getting chewed on the daily, picking off at least 5 of the fuckers everyday, sprayed with BT (Bacillus Thuringiensis) 2 days ago on the 31-11-20, i will spray again in a few days.
The 2 OG's are just starting to go into flower.
All plants are suffering with burning on the tips of leaves, so i decided to do a proper flush with 700-750 ppm nute solution. I did get a bit lazy the last couple of weeks and haven't been watering with enough run off every watering so I'm not really surprised.
Tested the initial run off:
GC 1 was reading 1180 PPM with a PH of 6.0
GC 2 was reading 980 PPM with a PH 5.8
OG 1 was reading 1100 PPM with a PH of 5.9
OG 2 was reading 1260 with a PH of 5.8
Flushed all until run off = PPM going in or within 50PPM (700-750PPM)
I will be trying to make sure i water until i get at least 15% run off every time.
The 2 GC are a height of 57 CM (would of been about 70cm without LST
OG 1 is 60CM and OG 2 57CM
Hopefully i can get on top of the caterpillars soon enough.
All in all, learning a lot and pretty happy with how things are goin.
Oh after thought, added a layer of perlite on top of the coco to try keep a some moisture in as its summer now.

Week 8 and things are looking great. No problems and my pest problem has gone.
They are drinking a lot and needing to fertigate every day. The warm days and flowering girls makes the coco dry out super quick oh and the fabric pots are contributing also.. I'm suspecting i may need to fertigate twice a day soon.
Im really happy with coco so far but its certainly not the most cost and time effective. I may consider a automatic watering system next grow.
Green Crack 2 is flowering like a champ,
Green crack 1 is taking its sweet time and the buds are growing really slowly, not sure what is happening with it, Might be a different pheno or just more fussy and wants more nutes compared to GC 1 as they have both been treated the same.
The 2 OG's are now in flower and have slowed there stretch, i started the transition feed 3 days ago, both are looking choice.
OG 1 is 73CM the tallest of the group.
Included 100ppm of Seasol to yesterdays feed.
13-12-20
Not much to say this week, everything still going pretty smoothly. Green Crack 2 is still the star of the show.
Gave a good flush of 680PPM until run off was at ~700PPM.
14-12-20
Have been feeding at just under 800ppm PH 6.2 consisting of Maxigro 600PPM, Calmag 100-150PPM and every other watering 50PPM of Seasol.
Green Crack 2 looks to be on the home stretch, I'm thinking 2 weeks until the chop maybe not even.
Weather is going to be rainy for the next few days unfortunately. I've been lucky with plenty of sunny days this grow so cant complain.
Will be doing another a maintenance spray of BT today.
