@Bleko, the buckets are full of perlite and it only holds water in the bottom about 2 inches deep so your roots aren't submerged like dwc

@Bleko, No I grow in dutch buckets. A lot of commercial vegetable farmers are starting to use them too. There are a lot of videos on YouTube that can explain the method better than I can. The plants love it and maintaining it is really easy.

@Wicked_Stix, You're not growing in DWC? What are you growing in again? I'd love to learn more about your set up.

@Wicked_Stix, thank you finally everything seem to fall into place. 3rd grow and got thrown a curve ball at 7 weeks. Got called out of town for work unexpectedly and I'll be gone for another few months. In the meantime wife stepped up and been killing it. She had abosuletly no desire to grow when I left. She wasn't looking forward to taking care of them but now she's hooked.
