GreenLantern I grow with "water only" living super soil. I am using the AutoPot Smartpot XL watering system. It's bottom fed (great for super soil) and can be left alone for days at a time.

GreenLantern I over watered her a bit but some puncture holes and fan on the soil fixed that in less than 12 hours. I want to top her so bad but I will screen trainer for my first grow instead. She will also be moving into the Auto-Pot system soon.

GreenLantern Well my photo tendencies got the best of me and I topped her. I only removed 1cm of the main tip but she took it hard and is taking a week to rebound back. Needless to say I wont be topping autos again. I wanted to pull her out but I think I'll just see it through. Topping hurt her yield for sure. I also removed the screen for now. Shes already pushing pistils hard so I don't think she'll get that big.

GreenLantern Well I finally moved her in her new 2x4 home and placed her into the AutoPot XL watering system. Shes recovered from the topping but I think I lost a lot of size to it. Also looks like theres been a problem with too much nitrogen. I hope the bottom feeding fixes that.

GreenLantern Shes loving the bottom feeding. Looking much healthier now. I'm really liking the Smart/AutoPots.

What kind of intake or fan do you have in the bottom vent hole? Is there ducting?

LST better in my opinion. Even that can be too much for them (autos), or they explode with bud sites all even. Which is essentially what you want right?✌️🏻️

@PharmaZ, Yes even canopy is the goal. I am still so new to autos that I am making all the mistakes with her. What really makes it almost impossible to scrog is not knowing how big/stretch the strain will get..

@GreenLantern, totally agree with that Plus side is you can really experiment due to the speed and light cycle. Especially with fast strains.✌️🏻
