Going to be doing about 50-100 seedlings a week, just to make it less work with planting, and transplanting .... to find the unicorn pheno that grows double digit cbd levels while staying below .3 thc. I have approximately 1500 seeds, and I think as of now 8 or 9 strains to try. These will be outdoors with supplemental lighting to keep them in veg.

I had a good set going and almost killed all of them. Many of them died. I had bugs coming in somehow is the greenhouse at night, so I sprayed bug spray around the lights and just some of the fine mist coming down nuked about 1/3 of the seedlings. There are still a couple dozen damaged that haven't died still in there, but not sure how they're going to do. I still have quite a few to plant, but might just wait till spring at this point.

Everyone in here is doing alright. Except a few affected by bug spray. Most of those were pulled out. I still have plenty more seeds to add, and just cracked a few more, but I think that will be it. Its getting to be a handful to take care of. Some topping on the 3 week old ones a day or 2 ago and pinching them off as we go. Some of the seedlings have been strechy as there hasn't been a lot of light lately, so they got support with wire. Thats about it. Nothing very exciting. New additions are medical seeds red cross and recovery, royal queen tatanka, female seeds Italia something or rather.

Starting week 4. Obviously not all of these are that age. Some are a week, 2, and 3 staggered. I don't have time to do all those all at once, but it does make me laugh when someone with 4 plants in a tent tell you how much work it is. Just being fed low doses of npk, calmag, and great white mixed with rainwater. I don't ph any soiless or soil plants. Only dwc. Its so important to everyone, yet no matter if its7 or 5.5, my plants are green.
For now, I think this is going to be the cap on plants until the summer when I can plant them directly into the ground. Im not sure what the count is, as quite a few have already been culled out, but around 300-325 plants. By flower, I would like have around 200 keepers.

Going into weeks 3, 4, and 5 with these. Everyone got a nutrient feed today. 5ml calmag, and 3ml of advanced a and b. A good handful more have been topped. A few were culled out. Seems like they're finally getting enough strength to stand up to the stronger breeze comming through lately. The 5 week old plants are going to need transplanting pretty soon. As soon as I have to water more than once a week, theyre going into .5gallon cans until I have greenhouse space for 250-300 2 gallon buckets. Some of them look a little light in the pics, thats just the way the sun is hitting em. Theyre pretty healthy green.

The weather hasn't been the greatest for these, but theyre doing ok. Into week 4,5,and 6 for the bunch. The 6 week ones are going to need transplanting soon, and will be moved into .5 gallon buckets for a few more weeks before theyre final 3gallon buckets. They arent going to be grown very big, and at this phase just being tested. I will clone many of the better looking ones to keep after testing results. They got a little watering today from the sky, so some of themook a little soggy. They will also be getting some pm this week too. Azamax and neem mix.

A little early on posting, but I'm at it with these now. Doing an underleaf wash, and transplant into 1/2 gallon buckets. In a few weeks they'll go into the final 2 gallon. Tonight I'll be spraying them with my pm mix of neem and aza. The weather hasn't been very favorable for growth, and I may end up having to finish these indoors.

Gearing up to flip these. Just ordered 200 new pots to put these in for their final destination. Some of the runs, if even kept, will be moved from cups to half gallon. Everyone else will be in 2 gallon. I only have room for the best 200. And have been culling them out every few days. Im down to about 250-270 now. Most of them are in half gallon pots, and have been topped once and older ones twice now. Some of them have shown worthy of cloning, and will be cutting those off in 2 weeks when they're flipped. New strains added. Still have about 10 strains in the mix, and the ones kept for clone with be tested, as well as ones the state requires to be tested for sole use in the entire field next year.

What a weekend. Transplanted hundreds of these wankers in 2 days. These are going to be full time outdoors now to flower. Hopefully the weather cooperates long enough to get through it. Its been a pain in the ass so far, but its to be expected this time of year. I don't imagine they'll get very big. They should be more than twice the size they are now already, but the conditions have been shit. I tried indoors for a little while, but its to much area for me to light up right now. Yanked some clones off the better looking ones,.. Hopefully they make good numbers and yeilds so they can be keepers. There are a handful of newer strains added that are still inside for now in veg to get a little bigger. There are some that are only 4 weeks old from seed.

Doing ok I guess. The inclimate weather is not at all in favor of these this time of year, and doesn't make good testing conditions for growth and numbers, as compared to what it would be from a late spring to fall run. Its a start tho. I don't usually clone in plugs anymore, but I was looking lazy to get my other one set up. Roots are just now starting to peek out. More than really high cbd numbers, I want to see low thc numbers, and vigorous growth, with easy rooting. Oh and pest resistance. Fed 30ml calmag and 20ml ea of bloom a and b to every 5 gallons. Used 40 gallons total to water this weekend.

Flowers are starting to show, not much stretch as I figured this time of year, but they are doing something which is better than falling over dying I guess. There are a few that got wind burn from strong cold air, idk if they're going to live or not, but I'm leaving them in place to block the same thing from going in deeper. The red cross and recovery strains have been put out to flower a couple days ago.

Need more sun, and less cold and rain. They're doing ok. Im a little late with this entry, so I'll have to do the next one in like 4 or 5 days. Really want these to hurry up and finish, so I can send them for testing, and start some mothers for next spring.

Not putting on tons of weight in these conditions, but theyre doing it. Many variations in size and color, watering schedule etc are all over the place. Not really any odor yet from anyone. All of the really colorful ones unfortunately seem to be really small yeilers, but on the up side, quick finishers. Still to early to know whats going to happen with everything being only half way there.

Got the date of these back on track now. These are 5 weeks down, going into 6 of flower. I have 11 phenos cloned, which parents are in pics. Samples of these are going to the lab in about 5 days to get an idea in what the numbers are making. A few of them are a little behind this bigger group, and will be tested later. Recovery, tatanka, red cross, Italia are some that are in those stages. Another 400 seeds were just planted for another short veg sog run, im going to post by next weekend as well. If the test results are good where they are now, I'll begin strait ro watering till they finish, if any look like they could go an extra week or so, I'll give one more feeding. There were a bunch of hermie plants that had to be yanked as well. I hope like hell none of these got knocked up by them. Mostly master kush spectrum, and abicus. They were all crazy, and none were cloned anyways.

Getting close. Some sample buds were trimmed off the tops from all the plants that were cloned, not leaving much left, but its a test run, right? So far, overall, and I mean considering price per seed, germination rate, structure, homogeneous growth, color, resistance to pm, rot, temp flux, pest resistance, etc etc, the cherry wine has won it. Tatanka won't be tested yet, but will come a few weeks later. The testing is being done at 6 weeks, so if the the numbers are over or near over, it gives some gauging on what to do, or do next time. If the numbers are pretty low, I'll let them.go to 8 weeks, if they're borderline, or over, obviously cut down now, or throw the clones away, because they would fail state testing, and the whole set would need to be destroyed. Next week, I will post the results out of who has made it to the finals.
Harvest was small as expected in the inclimate weather. Had to cut down a week early as bud rot was popping up and becoming on ongoing occurrence everywhere. Lab samples were sent in, and the best cbd:thc ratio out of the selected phenos 26:1, a cherry wine pheno making 6.64% cbd at week 5. Whole plant sample untrimmed, and a merlot sample same way just under it. So trimmed, a couple weeks later, I would expect these to be closer to 8-9%, and 11-12% a full 8 week flower. A few of the other samples were pretty low, and could have easily waited another week for testing, but long finishing strains aren't something I'm looking for. Finishing fast outdoors is more ideal to combat the elements. I will add the other strains as they go. Italia was tossed, red cross was tossed, tatanka and remedy strains are next for testing. I still haven't found anything worth keeping that makes a higher cbd number, while maintaining a legal hemp number of .3 thc or less. I've seen it claimed, but never seen the coa of any of them.
