Summer Outdoor Grow [OUTDOOR HYDRO DWC]

bigbud1080 First week as I just joined this platform. I am trying Outdoor Hydroponic D.W.C with 20l buckets. I have other grows at the moment, however they are young so I have created a different grow I have buried the buckets in the ground, and painted them black then white to avoid any light getting into the tank. I have 2 solar powered air pumps. The OG Kush I have recently topped then planted it from the DWC system to the ground, and is going well, 6 days after transplanting there are new shoots. The biggest plant is the Cookies Kush, which I have topped and am training it to grow in a spiral, I have cut some of the fan leaves off it, and it is responding really well to the microtopping and LST. It has shown pistils and is starting to smell like cannabis. Second is the OG Kush I planted in the ground. 3rd is Lemon OG Haze, which has pistils and I am growing in a spiral. I have not topped it yet. The Zour Apples and the Blue Cheese are growing a lot slower, but I expect them to shoot up next week. [PHOTO WILL BE UPDATED WHEN IT STOPS RAINING]

bigbud1080 Had some serious issues with a couple of plants inner leaves going yellow/white. The roots were very black so I cleaned them and reduced the PPM. Plants are slowly recovering. Having issues with plants flowering early due to the amount of daylight where I live. I have setup 2 20watt CFL bulbs to come on at night. Initially I am going to force them out of flowering by blasting them for around 20 hr of light per day, then I am going to reduce it have a light come on for a couple of hours around midnight.

bigbud1080 Blue cheese is absolutely powering. Supper cropped it and it is growing very big. (Outdoor DWC) The Zour Apples I transplanted to Soil is looking healthy but not growing very much, expect it to start growing next week. (Soil) The Lemon OG Haze is now being flushed after having some major root issues, I am using a foliar spray to give it nutrients. (It is starting to flower) (DWC) The Cookies Kush is flowering and recovering well from root rot. (DWC) The OG Kush is powering, responded very well to the topping, and is growing thick branches (SOIL)

bigbud1080 All plants are doing well this week. Plants with root rot are steadily recovering and all other plants are growing very fast. I have decided to reveg the Lemon OG Haze as it was recovering and the crop would have been very small. I am putting it under a light for 24 hr for a week, then standard 16hr lighting.

bigbud1080 All plants are doing really well this week. Plants have really thickened out and the lateral branches are becoming quite large. The weather has been perfect with a lot of sun and not too hot days. Putting the frozen water bottles in the buckets has stopped all root rot. The Lemon OG Haze and Cookies Kush have fully recovered and are revegging strongly.

bigbud1080 Another great week of veg, had really high temps and sunny days so plants are thriving. Going to be a long and hot summer, which the plants will love. I have decided to run the DWC at 750ppm, I was getting root issues at a higher temp, and I am putting water bottles in the res. (This is getting very tiring) Blue Cheese is actually insane, it's growing so much bigger than the other ones.
