Strong, uplifting sativa dominant strain. Great flavour and the citrus came out in both smell and taste after curing for a month. My new favourite sativa!
This was an interesting grow that I learned a lot from as I almost killed the plants in veg. First dose of nutes in veg I added too much PH Down. Had just switched products and my pen was out of cal. Flushed the plants the next day in an attempt to save them but severely stunted growth in the veg phase. I was convinced they were going to die (hence why there are so few pics in veg). Flipped to flower with the plant a bit smaller then usual.
Once in flower I resumed feeding as usual and the buds blew up. This was my first full flower cycle with my new light, the Equinox 660, and the effect was shocking. Although not the biggest yield I’ve achieved so far the bud quality was by far the highest. Buds were large, dense and compact. Harvested with approximately 30% amber.
Overall very impressed with the strain. If
I hadn’t made the mistake with the PH levels it would’ve been a monster. Still managed to get 9 ounces of quality bud from these two little girls. Highly recommend!
The purpose of this journal is to roughly document my first grow with mimosa to allow for comparisons with my current mimosa grow. Lacking pictures as I was not intending to make a journal. My 2nd grow with this strain did not have issues in veg and is on track to be the monster this one could’ve been.
