Hey there growers,
This is my first indoor grow with photoperiod strain thanks to James from RQS. Thank you very much for seeds and other freebies once again James!
Goal is to use cheapest ferts i can find on market that are actually great for our girls and try to make a grow as simple as possible.
Germination started on 21.10.
Seeds are germinated and planted in solo cups next day on 22.10.
22.10. Watered with few drops of water just to make soil moisty.
24.10 I came to check on my girls and they already poped up tall. Left one had a shell around her leaves but i took it off gently with tweezers. Same day they were watered with 25 ml of water with 1.5 ml of Slavol (Bacterias) each.
26.10. Watered with 25 ml of water each and 1.5 ml of Slavol, 2.5 ml of Plantella vita and 5ml of Plantella BioVrt.
Girls are doing great, watered twice this week, once with 25 ml of water and 1.5 ml of Slavol and second time 25 ml of water and Slavol + 2.5 ml of Plantella Vita and 5 ml of Plantella BioVrt.
02.11. Transplanted to bigger pots, had no issues with transplanting and girls took it very well.
Everything seems okay, i've had no issues at all. Girls look healthy and fast growing. They will soon be transplanted but i have to decide either to go for 11 L pot or the final one
( 25 L ).
19.11. Topped both above third node, waited a bit too much but girls showed no sign of stalling or real stress.
22.11. Watered with 1 L of water each + 1.5 ml of Slavol, 2.5 ml of Plantella Vita and 5ml of Plantella BioVrt as usual. Next watering wont be so soon.
I noticed new growth is lime green, have no idea is it normal or lack of something!?
Girls have recovered fast from toping and continued to grow.
I'll use lst next week to spread the branches a little bit to allow more of light penetration.
Girls are doing great and still growing fast. Tried to do some lst and keep canopy as even as possible. I didnt notice any problems of deficies yet.
Also didnt use any of nutes, only vitamins and bacterias and i think i wont be needing veg nutes at all this grow.
Girls keep growing and getting bushier day by day, also no problems so far and still no need for nutes. I'll be adding some cal-mag soon and make slight defoliation before switching to flowering
Girls keep growing fast, this week i gave them water only once and finally switched to 12/12. Still showing no signs of deficiencies and no nutes used yet. Biobizz allmix combined with light mix seems to be great and longlasting.
Started to water them more frequently, 2 liters of water every third day. Im rotating one watering vitamins, the other bacterias and third watering just plain water and girls dont complain. Once per few weeks i add mycorrhiza on top of the soil and cal-mag from biobizz. No nutes used yet. I'll start giving organic PK booster in third week of flowering but in very low doses.
They grew 5 cm in one week, also i noticed top of the leaves are dark green color and curled down. Might it be theres still too much nitrogen in the soil? Still havent used any nutes yet. Girls are also getting thirstier as weeks pass ane no problems yet.
Added 1.5 ml calmag to the watering routine, as every 2 to 3 weeks. Girls are stretching just fine but not too much, might raise the lights a little bit. They still dont ask for nutrients and everything seems fine.
Watering is getting more frequent, every 2-3 days 2 Liter of water with either a vitamins/cal-mag or pk booster which i started to use from this week and girls seems to enjoy it. Will keep this schedule for few weeks.
Girls are heavy drinkers, started to feed them more water and full doses of nutes and noticed some light nute burn on tips of a few of leaves i'll keep full giving dose and keep an eye on my girls.
Buds are starting to fatten really nice and smell is getting so strong and sweet. Bottom leaves are starting to turn yellow, guess its the way... Will feed them for one or two more times and then plain water till the end.
This week was supposed to be last one to feed them before flush but i might keep feeding it to the end since i was told not to do it because its organic grow and i'll just starve the plants... I'll probably just finish with bloom nutes/boosters. The white is unreal, trichomes are stacked pretty fat.
I've had one of my girls split in half and 2 more branches snapped by the weight of bud, i've put some plastic wire to keep them together and it works for now, no yellowing noticed few days after and girl is doing really great. This strain is very resiliant to all kinds of trainings or mistakes made. Trichomes are half clear and half cloudy with some amber but only on leaves, so i guess i have atleast one more week before harvest.
Leaves on one of my girls are turning red while on other are green, might it be deficiency or just pheno? Im using same amount of water and nutes on both.
Bought cheap 60-120x microscope on amazon for 30 euros and while checking trichomes i noticed they are still mostly clear with some turning milky and some amber. Think they got one or two more weeks for sure.
