Strawberry Creme - Erd beer cultivar

Week 1 - Plant was topped just prior to flower flip. Plant was heavily lollipopped/defoliated. ( I think #1 was done perfectly ) 1-2 Days following plant was LST / Bent into a SCROG 1 day after LST / Bending I went back and fixed all issues w/ canopy uniformity Left it perfectly flat to chime in a wonderful stretch phase. High front part was properly lowered and bent/tied down. You can see difference before and after fixing trainning/scrog in photo/videos.. I tuned the canopy to 850 PPFD due to it seeming like its the most this strain is willing to take w/o taking light damage or looking unhealthy in anyway. I dont do distance from lamp because its not accurate I use PPFD quantum meter to dial my plants in and optimize them. Grow is in Coco Coir Plants getting 3 gal per pot. Plenty of water runs through after first 2 gallons are added keep everything steady.

Ohi So this week you should see the plants bush out from post defoliation and start to see them stretch and grow into their trellis. From the media from this week you can see we got some stretch starting and the very early signs of preflowers showing up, I imagine seeing small buds in the next week guaranteed. health looking fantastic better than they did in veg really loving the extra care and attention especially the full flush waterings that are so tedious to wet vac after. I added a new product to my recipe this week, That product is Tribus Lumina. I apply at 7.5-10ml a gallon it smells like low tide ( derrived from shrimp) heavily. I got this product to help my tribus out a bit give it something to eat, has some molasses in it as well something I dont typically add recently. This addition is part of my trying to cover all angles Tribus Lumina hopefully will feed my microbe life and thats that. In Hydro I added a UC roots see more on my other diary! The PH drop is significant with this product I was at 5.2-5.4 after everything. If you bubble it for a bit it will go up about .2-.4 and you can ph up the rest Over all my #1 girl on the front left corner has the most desirable expression, you can smell and feel the terepenes on the huge healthy leaves. #1 is my shortest of the bunch most indica leaning of the 4.

Not much this week Keeping the early training up. defoliated at 21-22 days few days after buds started appearing Just as I saw them starting to increase in size.. I defoliated a ton. Next day had visible bud growth and clear views to stacks of buds forming. Can just finally start getting a really different smell hints of full strawberry smell upon tent opening. Also small bits of glandular frost forming on the new buds. I hope we get some smelly frosty girls. Would be a nice problem to have trouble deciding which to keep ;)

30th november marks last day of week 5. Started picking larger fan leaves to make bud sights visible mostly sugar leaves left on them now, need to go back and finish up but a lot of the plants have been defoliated again so all light can make it to bud sights and plant can try to focus on bud development and keep us away from Larfy material. #1 of 4 of the strawberry cremes has an incredible strawberry candy smell that is almost enhanced with a creamy sweet blueberry body that gives strawberry cream its "strawberry creme " terp profile. The blueberry really ties into the over all aroma not necessarily any blueberry by itself notable but you can smell it in the overall lush and welcoming strawberry candy aroma she gives off. fingers where covered in resin after defoliation this time around smoked some delicious finger hash, almost couldnt get the trichs off they where so sticky Lol.

Been turning veg nuts down and putting bloom feed up as you can see the change in the feed chart. Been adjusted this way since week 6 atleast. Adjusted plants in the tents in the last few days ( currently at 7.5 weeks) Lights have been raised and turned up higher, Canopy LED PPFD has raised from 650->940 To 800->1250 I feel I should have turned up the lights sooner but ive had limited head room making my decisions when I update my grow space here soon my tents will be a bit better sorted and ill be in a RDWC or DWC for flowering. week six was one of those bud hardening weeks, Not much visual action until start of week 7 where more white pistils started popping up and more bud grow could be seen soon after the newest watering. Ive been a bit worried about this run thinkin the buds are a bit smaller than they should be at any given period, Ive been comparing to alot of other grows but have to keep in mind most people are growing indica, or indica leaning hybrids which are natural 50-60 dayers. This cultivar is a high sativa lean which im not super familiar with but it seems like she'll go for 10 weeks if not near that as the seed producer states a 64-70 day flowering period. as of posting this we are at 53.2 days ( 7.57 weeks ) So we're looking at 17 days at most as far as the breeders advice goes. True Erd Beer is a short flower 45-55 days which is curious. I have to see as the next 17 days proceed if the buds lose their strawberry smell and pick up a more haze spice smell like erd beer is rumored to do. I will be reversing ( making fem seeds) of 2 of the 4 cuts I have as I currently have it planned. one that has a longer sativa build with large plump buds and other with strawberry candy terps very very short pheno compared to any others.
