Dark Horse Genetics “Sunny D”

So far, so good for 2 of these. All 5 germinated but lost 2 to rough handling by myself, and 1 was puny and weak and didn’t make the cut.

Starting to grow faster now. The yellowing leaves on one plant will be watched for any changes. Hopefully just normal “baby leaves” aging out. We’ll soon see!

Getting to be little plants, not seedlings this week! Hope @ least one is a girl!

Recovering after topping and a transplant to a much bigger pot. Biggest challenge was getting the ph right with “drops and colors kit”, but have a PH meter coming soon. To ease the stressed plants, I’ve added a little extra Golden Tree. I’m researching to find out what is needed for the best custom recovery formula I can make! Options aren’t great in the market. All much needed lessons before the seedling autos I have get bigger since they’re less forgiving.

This little beauty was doing so well, she and her sister were transferred up to 5 gallon fabric pots. Flipped to 12/12 due to time constraints and hoping for the best!

Things are looking good for the girls! Humboldt’s line of muted wasn’t doing it for them, so I’ve made my own custom mix of micronutrients and additives. Starting some LST. No flowering yet after 1 week of 12/12, hopefully will stay short and stacked!

The ladies had their best week since these beans first popped! Mean and green, finally no purple stems or yellowish leaves. La dolce vida (for now).

Increased nutrients and feeding frequency to 2-3 times daily. Adjusting LST to maintain.

Flowering now and looking better. Defoliation was done for the last time before harvesting. Adding monopotassium phosphate mix for blooming.

Great week for the girls. I replaced the LED quantum board with a 315 CMH kit that has warmed up the tent in a good way. The bud sites started rapidly filling out the first day I made the change.

The girls are doing great! Just a few weeks until harvest. Pistils are turning bright orange and the trichomes are turning orange. New white pistils still emerging, so I’m keeping an eye out for an earlier or later finish than breeder recommends.

The first girl got the chop. The second still looks 1-2 weeks away.
