First time using the jiffy pellet method. I will be doing it this way from now on! 100% germination! I quickly moved them into their final homes and put them under the big light.
These things are growing like literal weeds! I am already starting to see a tiny bit of red on the underside of the leaves on the plant on the farthest right of the photos. I bet this is the one that will look like the stuff out of magazines! **NOTICE** Since growdiaries doesn't allow me to enter in grams per gallon or any alternative, I have used the "ml/gal" option and substituted the "ml" for "grams". So for this week it was 3 grams of calcium per gallon, 1.15 grams of Hybrids Powder per gallon and .65 grams of Booster per gallon. **NOTICE**
Watching these grow alongside slower growing photo-periods is turning me into a believer! I have never seen a plant move so quick into flowering and still be so fast to grow!! **NOTICE** Since growdiaries doesn't allow me to enter in grams per gallon or any alternative, I have used the "ml/gal" option and substituted the "ml" for "grams". I started to do some very light LST here. I am hoping it keeps the plant a bit even but we will see. I don't want to mess too much with these guys but I did FIM the one on the far left! Let's see if it does anything!
This week was beset by my own stupidity so I didn't really take any pictures. That is okay. The next week is going to blow your mind! I am actually a little concerned I might run out of height soon! I guess this is what they call "Hybrid Vigor"!
Now the colours come out!! I hope everyone is excited for the fact that I finally figured out how to change the whitebalance on my camera!! Perfect timing really!
Nov 29, 2020 marks day 40 since I planted the seeds!
Every day I open the tent I am absolutely gobsmacked as to how fast these are growing. I will have an extremely hard time growing 12+ week plants from now on. These smell divine. They have an extremely heavy fruity smell that borderlines on something I can't quite place my tongue on! It is almost like a fake grape smell? It smells so good that I find myself going back to smell it just one more time! The plant on the right is going to be an outstanding colour by the end of this!
I am finding it difficult to get my camera to take photos and videos with the proper colour hence the double videos! It is unreal how thicc these are getting!! They smell wonderful! The other two plants are starting to show a bit more of their red/purple colours too! Noticing a bit of potassium stress from feeding but since they are nearly finished (I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!) I am only going to pull back a bit. They just need to survive another 14-21 days by the looks of them!
It is going to be so hard to grow anything besides this strain from now on. These are truly some sweet seeds!! I am consistently amazed at how FAST they are! Putting on weight like a they are in quarantine and boy do they look good!! The colours are really starting to pop now! Next week is likely going to be harvest time. I have looked at the trichomes and they are about 80% cloudy with no amber but that means harvest will be soon!!
Just waiting for the trichomes to turn amber. I will be harvest on Week 10 no matter what though! These have quickly become my favourite strain to grow and I cannot wait to start another batch!
Really fruity taste. The flowers themselves are super sticky and resinous. I would say these landed around the 18% mark and I managed to harvest 390 grams in 70 days! That is 5.6 grams per day grown in soil which is just short of amazing! I had some fungal gnat issues that these plants never seemed to notice! The colours are out of this world and the buds are far more dense than I thought possible from an autoflower variety! I will be adding this strain to my outdoor collection and plan on seeing how it grows in the Alberta summer! 70 days is a perfect amount of time for the short growing season in that province!
