Lover of the Dirt, Smoke, & GreenLife

I unfortunately don't have all the equipment that I would like, I don't have any monitors/thermometers, to watch the Co2, day and night temps, and all that good stuff. What I do bring to the table is that my crappy old cabinet never shuts all the way, so the good thing is that there is always great air flow, especially with my little fan in there helping, and I do have the natural bag of Co2 which should be just fine for the babies. So what I have going for me is that the temps, according to what I feel when I'm in there, is that it gets nice and warm in there, I can always see the nice breeze on the plants so I know there's lots of circulation and that since I can't lock it up all the way on in the inside, if it is ever too much (so far it hasn't) I can just open a door and allow some fresh air to enter and shake things up a bit. BUT I haven't had to that, so far it's looking warm, comfortably humid, with plenty air giving the babies a loving space to grow in. Why yes, I talk to my plants daily, they are my little girls, and research shows that it highly benefits your plants to actually talk to them and show them love, they will show it right back with how they grow! Ya, I'm a bit of a hippie if you ask me 😂 I doubt anyone is even asking. Please forgive my dumb sense of humor. Haha. ANYWHO, I have 10 gal grow bags because I want the best for my roots, I've read that auto's like light airy drier soil, mostly due to them growing so fast that their roots need plenty of space to quickly spread out and persistent wet dirt does not help with that. Right away I decided I would water on an as needed base, meaning I wait for the soil to get nearly completely dry before I water again. I'm always very careful not to overwater or overfeed. So, FOOP, has anyone heard of FOOP? They provide a line of all-natural nutrients made primarily from reclaimed fish poop that delivers everything high-yielding cannabis and hemp plants need to flourish in a simple 2 part solution. ---copied from their feeding schedule paper. So, they say all you need is this, and it requires no other additives or anything like that. My babes are 4 weeks old tomorrow, and so far I'm am very happy with what FOOP is doing to my babies. Since, this is only Week 1 seedlings, I fed them 1 time. I followed their guidelines for Week 1 seedling, and the first week they just sprouted right up. I unfortunately do not have near as many pictures of them as I wish I would. Also, right now they are on a 24 hours light schedule, this is because they are so young, I want them warm and just soaking up everything they can to get strong and grow well. Confession time, I struggle with my mental health ALOT, LIKE A TON. So, I go threw times where it's hard for me to do daily life, so I'm really really committing to picturing and writing out my grow diaries. HELP ME STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE! Any who, much love to the human race to everyone's beautiful green ladies!

So I have began some low stress training where I just pull the plant apart on equal sides & I did this 2-3x a day. This was my hope for not having to use any setup with tie downs to support the stems. SORRY its took me so long to even get to updating this:( read threw the next few weeks & you can too endure the pain my 3 year old has cause me, lol, not lol haha Edit: at this moment my equipment is minimal, small fan, okay light. Co2 bag, & FOOP for food. No phtester no humidity levels checked nothing. Trust me. I'm working my way to it!!

So now we're into full on growth mode & flower mode. I discovered a pattern of watering & feeding that these girls love. Tuesdays & Fridays are feed days followed by a Sunday water. Because the girls started growing so fast I decided I wanted to start giving them the sweetener immediately for maximum use. I've read lots of blogs & things that say that autos require less food because they do pretty well on their own. WELL I'm here to tell you, that I'm near the end of these plants now & I never once slowed down on feeds & my babies have loved every drop of food they've received.

All of these pictures are the day before they turned 7 weeks old, so I just added it to this, seemed more logical. Well, they obviously blew up in the last 2 weeks! I'm constantly worried about my ph not being balanced because I have absolutely no way of telling. I've stuck to my feeding & watering schedule ; it's done amazing. Now since flowering I've had a huge rule about not touching the flower & I've stood by it. My low stress training has done me justice so far & the top cola & surrounding bottom colas are all nearly equally spread out with plenty breathing room! This goes for all 3 of them. So each pot had a little difference of amount of soil. All 3 are different heights which I wanted different sizes because I've worried about not having enough space for them once their nearly done. PLEASE READ BELOW post. I unfortunately don't really have any pictures BUT it's a story that's for sure. And has everything to do with this whole entire grow now & all I can say now is wow! So this week was a tragic one. I unfortunately never had a lock on my bedroom door. Mostly because money is really tight so if I didn't have to absolutely buy it, I wouldn't. Well all that changed when my 3 year old thought my plants needed a makeover. He actually took my 2 best plants & beat the h**l out of them with my water pitcher. I found the damage with the pitcher sitting on top of one of my plants. So 2 of the 3 were extensively damaged. They were both dropped over, leaves damaged all over, & some stems damaged in places. I ended crying really really bad. They both got a trimming. I had to top one & and had to cut off the bottom right side of the plant growth, to large formed shoots & their water leaves. After all this was said & done. Dunn Dunn dunn. Lmao. They survived!!!!! So weeks you will be able to see my mini auto lmao it's so little yet so cute with its little nugs growing

We're almost done with the untouched plant! I'm watching daily for the Terps to turn to my taste. So I love sativa's & hybrid's so now I'm wanting almost all of the Terps to turn red but about 15-20% so there's not too much of a heavy couch lock on it. So basically any day now! Baby #2, with the right bottom side missing is still in full flower, working on getting those buds growing. They've gotten so big where I rotate them daily to make sure we have equivalent lighting on every side of the plant. After almost losing 2 of my plants to my toddler, I got very serious. I ordered a hygrometer, so I can watch temps & humidity. A water ph tester. & a tiny humidifier, within like a 7 day period. I got everything to make sure everything was on point. Turns out this FOOP canna food is way more than what I ever imagined. I don't hardly ever have to adjust my ph turns out the FOOP comes very balanced. I now check my ph everytime I feed and water but when I used my food & mix it with water i then check my ph & every single time its spot on! I've kept my routine this whole time. Even the few days I nursed my dying babes back to health. Feeding every tuesday & friday & watering on sundays. I don't know if any of you would wonder if it seems like I'm maybe not watering enough. But autos grow at an insane rate, so giving their roots an airy dryer soil gives them maximum amount of room to grow as quickly as they want. They don't have heavy wet soil slowing them down which gives them more opportunity for growth. SO. I've got 1 plant almost finished. 1 very large plant even with a side missing is still huge, and working hard on growing some little chubby buds. Lol. And then my mini auto growing some chunky buds but not very many. Lol. Pics to come very very soon! I appreciate anyone who reads all of this!
