I started with the paper towel method. Was told from a friend that if it will grow tomatoes, it will grow weed. So I went down to Wal-Mart and bought some organic potting mix. I now see the error in my ways and have purchased Coco Coir w/ General Hydroponics Flora Grow, Bloom, Micro Combo, and CALiMAGic.
Progress seems slower than most grows I'm seeing on here, but they don't seem unhealthy. The first half inch of soil is dry, but moist passed that point. I water them every 2-3 days with 1/3 cup. I know I really need to get them out of the potting mix. Because the space will only allow 1 plant and I only have 1 bag of Coco Coir, I'm waiting to find out if which one is female. If they are all female, I'll select the which ever one looks the healthiest. I did upgrade my light from a 5000k Westgate LED parking lot light to a MAXSISUN 1000W LED Grow Light 3 days ago. I'm hoping that will help.
As you can tell, there was little to no growth during week 3. I believe it had a lot to do with the potting mix and high pH(7-8). I moved them over to a 5 gal grow bag with Coco Coir(70%) and perlite(30%) and watered them with GH Flora trio and CalMAg. 1 tsp of each in a 1 gallon jug. Within 24 hours you could immediately see the difference. It was really touch and go there for a moment.
