Started with 3 Ami and 2 bubble Gum.
Had some problems in week 3/4 with Nat fly infestation and decided to pull 2 plants and relocate grow from cupboard to tent!
Had a small Nat fly problem arise this week. Will manage as best I can but need to move grow to a tent as cupboard is far to exposed and seems to be damp. Humidity levels off the scale! Meter reader broken due to moisture in room.
Decided to purchase tent as cupboard I started in was too cold and too damp! I gathered it would be hard to regulate levels so opted to move to tent. Also I have now encountered a Nat fly issue, and I’m almost sure the tent would have reduced this or at least allowed me to manage better.
I have decided to pull out a bubblegum seedling that just went really hard, didn’t grow past 1cm and only developed 1 set of tiny leafs??? Any thoughts would be appreciated! 👍 I believe it was due to cupboard, as not much ventilation. Enough airflow but maybe lack of extraction maybe an issue? Also, Nat fly may have caused this? I’m still unsure and I will edged on side of caution next time when using Autos.
Still having some issues with a small Ami that I may also take out. Its small and I think will just take up space in the tent. ( this the one that kept rooting up towards the light!!!)
The girls now adjusted to their new home very well. They are loving the tent. Have managed the nat fly problem and seemed to have got rid of most now. Only using a neem oil and soap mix to soil drench this week. A very diluted mix but seemed to work and not shock plants. So will defo use again if needed. ( hope not! But soil growing so no doubt will crop up again )
The slower Ami now starting to move a bit faster but doubt it will catch up to others. Keep in it there for now!
Unable to visit grow regularly this week and had issue with Nat fly again. Done some research and found Diatomaceous earth. Works a treat! Couldn’t believe the results. I did purchase a overly priced version from hydro store close by just as I needed the same day. But this shit really is amazing. One dressing done the job and washed through after 2/3 waterings. I was hoping to having to only dress once as plants going into flower and that’s all it needed. Not one Nat fly in the room! Unbelievable.
Getting some good growth on 2x Ami and finally decided to pull the slower 3rd I was holding out some hope for, but as flowering comes so does lack of space in tent...She gotta go ☹️I will put outside to how she does in nature and report back in later diary on how she did! Able to really start training the Ami girls this week and opening them up due to the better growth. Bubble gum still slow and probably should have pulled it but wanted to see at least one of the bubblegum pull through.
Seems like it’s the first week with no real issues or problems with the project. I have come to the reality that although very easy to grow, Autos are very prone to stress and after some extensive research into Autos and this project, I feel that there’s a lot I would have done differently now.
The Ami girls have reacted really well with training and still growing at a decent pace. Bubble gum starting to pick up a little pace but don’t think enough time to pull through to get a decent yield. Again a pretty straight forward week. No more nats 😊😆😂
Flowers really starting to show now. Decided to scrog so I could remove LST strings and clips on pots. Multiple bud sites on each of the Ami plants. Look forward to watching them stack up! I may order another 600 led light to try help intensify lighting!?! Not sure this will fatten up buds but sure won’t hurt as long as they don’t burn.
Unfortunately, have to harvest crop early, due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances! We live and learn, lol.
Very sad for these young ladies as they were just in process of getting their grove on! Someone crashed the party and turned on all the lights. ☹️ 😂
I will add some harvest details after drying for approx 10days.
In meantime I’ll be updating info for previous weeks I have not yet added. If anyone has any questions I’ll be happy to give you feedback on my experience with this crop.
At least I’ll be smoking or eating it at Xmas 🎄🎄🎄

Had to harvest early due to issues. But still smokable after dry but very heavy head stone and very rushy! Saved for hash run. I’ve only dropped stars as I didn’t finish grow and cannot give a fair report
Not what I was expecting but not a reflection on strain. I’m sure this would have yielded a lot better given the right amount of time. Will try to grow strain again
