RikDalton I have started 3 Growers Choice Chemdog seeds in 1.5” cubes. I then placed the cubes into a Super Sprouter with a heating mat and a 7” humidity dome.

RikDalton 12/8 Well it seems I’m off to a great start.
I am watering plants ever other day and they are stretching a bit. I will be putting up the bigger lights soon and increasing the distance to 4"
As soon as I see roots coming out of the bottom of the cubes I will transplant 2 of the seedlings to 4x4 rock wool cubes and the remaining seedling is going into a current culture solo 8 dwc bucket.
12/10
I culled two of the seedling as there was no room in the tent for them. I will have to come up with a better solution for the next time. Transplanted the best looking seedling into the solo 8 dwc bucket.
I did not add any nutrients into the water this week as my tap water is already at 240 ppm. I will be using RO water for the rest of the grow.

RikDalton I added a vivosun humidifier to my tent and my temps and humidity are just about perfect.
The roots of the plant are already past the net pot and look very good
The plant is very squat and not very stretchy at all. I am planning on topping the plant at least twice and then use the LST technique to spread it out to fill up my 3x3 tent.

I am very impressed with the plant growth over the last week. The plant has almost tripled in size.
Changed the nutrient solution today. I am using Current Culture nutrients and when mixed with RO water the ph seems to come out perfectly.
Temps and humidity are consistent.

Topped the plant today.

Very fast growth this week
I’m am following the Current Culture nutrient schedule for week four of veg but have set my light to 12 on 12 off. I will then follow the bloom nutrient schedule for the next week.
I have changed the grow light to the hlg 225 and moved the plants to the small 2 x2.5 Gorilla grow tent without the extension. Temps and humidity are very good
I trimmed the plant and took two clones from the two bottom branches.

I switched the light cycle to 12/12 last week as kind of a transition to flower week.
Plant is starting to stretch already, it looks like I had some phosphorus deficiency but I switched to the bloom formula and the new growth looks pretty good. The plant stills looks a little pale but I am going to follow the nutrient schedule from Current Culture.
I did trim her up a bit and I was able to get a couple of good cuttings to clone.
I started the clones in rock wool cubes ph to 5.5 and put the in a tray with a humidity dome and used a fluorescent light. After about 6 days the clones feel like they have rooted but no roots have come out of the cube yet.

RikDalton Great growth and fantastic smell starting this week

Plant is looking great even with some outside stress do to unforeseen circumstances. I moved her to a new tent with a new carbon filter set up. Temps and humidity are now very stable. I have learned that putting the humidifier in the tent can clog a filter quickly. I now have the humidifier outside of the tent in my lung room.
I changed the nutrient solution today. The ppm before the change was at 150 ppm with a ph of 5.6. The plant appears very healthy with some signs of phosphorus deficiency. I have increased the bloom nutrient a little bit and the ppm is at 590.
The clones I took of this plant both survived. And I have planted it into another CC solo 8 bucket and I will be starting a new journal for that clone.

RikDalton She stretched out a bunch
I gave her a serious haircut this week and the buds are really starting to form.
I’m pretty much on auto pilot now as she seems to really like nutrient schedule and the led lights

RikDalton Was very surprised to have my plant stretch almost another 10 inches this week.
My plant stretched up into the grow light and one of the colas was burned for shore. My light was hung up at the top of my grow tent and I could not raise the light anymore. Some of the top branches grew past the light as well. Luckily I have a gorilla grow tent and was able to add a 1 foot extension to the tent.
Having the light raised has made a huge difference and my buds are getting huge.
