power88 This week started off rough, it was hit by hurricane-force winds and hail, it broke the main stem but I had to move it to a bigger pot and cover the cotyledons with soil so it wouldn't keep bending. I hope it survives, my bad for leaving it outside in the storm.

I didn't upload a photo of how the broken stem looked after the storm, since as soon as I saw it, I put soil in a new pot up to the cotyledon, which was the only part that stayed straight. Would it have been better to use a stake or guide? Or is it okay to cover the stem with soil up to the first cotyledon?

It should be fine. The buried portion of the stem, will in time, sprout roots. As long as the plant can stop itself from falling over, a tutor or stick to keep her standing will not be needed. If she can not stay upright by herself, obviously a tutor will be needed. If you do need to tie her to a stick/tutor, remember to use a loop with plenty of room for the stem to expand as she grows. If you use a tight knot, as the plant grows and the stem expands, the knot will "strangle" the stem and possibly kill your plant. I have found wide (4-8millimetre), elastic cotton plant ties to work best for tying plants, as opposed to anything with wire.

The plant is still a bit down, the stem looks pretty damaged. I put it inside an indoor setup and filled the soil up to the first cotyledon. I removed some lower leaves that were wilting and drying out. I don't know what else to do? Poor plant, the storm and the stone got to it.

thanks for responding, the plant was doing really bad but now it has recovered. I put it in a humid environment and the leaves started to perk up thanks to 2 days of indoor. It resulted in the leaves absorbing moisture instead of the roots, which had the main stem broken. In short, I treated it like a cutting.

power88 This week a storm hit my plant hard, it's still struggling since the main stem broke 7 days ago. I put a soil stake up to the cotyledon and treated it like a cutting since it had broken leaves and a broken stem. I increased the humidity so it wouldn't suffer from stress, and its growth has really slowed down compared to before. If I see that it doesn't make any more progress in another week, I'll just leave it in the soil and let whatever happens happen.

power88 Even though it looks healthy considering everything that happened, it got stuck in growth; it seems that the growth system was affected by the stress it went through during these 15 days after the last big storm. I moved it to a bigger pot since the previous pot was getting too hot, and I placed some mint plants around it to help keep the pot and substrate from heating up too much.

After experiencing a stem break from the storm, treating it like a cutting for 5 days, the plant is growing at a very slow pace. What do you recommend, using outdoor light or putting it in the indoor tent? Out here we have about 16 hours of light.

When I was about to put her indoors, the weather improved, the summer temperature dropped, and humidity increased with light rains for 4 days, and the plant got much better. This cannabis strain really has good resilience and a will to live.

power88 This plant has been withstanding everything: strong winds, big stones, extreme temperature changes. Honestly, it's very resilient. I had to leave it outside, and when I got back from work, I found a few fewer leaves, but it's really tough. It has already survived several big storms. Excellent genetics! It's going to grow very strong and has some really, really beautiful colors.

power88 This week I wasn't around because I went on vacation. I watered with water and fertilizers before leaving, and Mother Nature did the rest. I don't know if it rained while I was gone, but the plant is still there, stronger than ever. It has grown quite a bit since my last check, and it still hasn't defined its sex, but since it's feminized seeds, I know it's going to be female.
P.S.: The topping worked out great!

power88 This week is the last of vegetation according to the calendar for the southern hemisphere at my latitude, this week it advanced very quickly and grew very well, this strain is very resistant to everything and managed to get through all the adversities of the tornado, hail, broken stem, and weeks without watering due to my vacation. I'm really happy because with very little care it's beautiful. I had to tie it a bit to distribute the branches since it was growing upwards and they were going to shade its sister. Honestly, this genetic variety is perfect for any novice if planted in soil.

power88 This week was filled with pistils, I already started to see the first trichomes, I had a little issue with the main stem as it split in the middle and I had to tie it up. But it's excellent in every way, I noticed that the internodal spacing is long but the leaves are quite wide. It doesn't seem to be 95% sativa, let's wait until the end to see how it turns out.

power88 This week it rained a lot, so I couldn't fertilize at any point. Let's hope the weather improves so I can fertilize next week since it's lacking trichomes. They will probably appear a bit later than its sister White Widow since it's a bit more sativa. The buds and flowers are forming nicely and are quite large. I also noticed some leaves with powdery mildew, so I had to defoliate to allow better airflow and light penetration to the roots.

power88 This week there was a lot of rain, a lot of water, I couldn't fertilize as I should have since it can produce a lot of fungi, five days of nonstop rain. I'm afraid that fungi will show up; a bit of powdery mildew appeared.
As for resin, the first trichomes are starting to turn whitish, there are a few small golden ones, but they are very, very few, and most are already clear, a good sign that it's going to start resin production a lot, a lot.
Aside from the rain, there was a noticeable drop in maximum and minimum temperatures, which has significantly accelerated the trichome process.

power88 Amber trichomes started to appear and I had to harvest this week outdoors, thanks to the weather since it didn't rain and there was plenty of sun. I had to cut because for my taste, the trichomes were 80% milky, 15% clear, and 5% amber. Now it's time to start using scissors and dry this beautiful genetics prone to mold in very humid hills.

Hermosos resultados en exterior, lastima que no se adapta a climas húmedos ya que produce hongos si el clima no acompaña.
Muy poco olor en exterior una vez curado hermoso olor a pino terroso y a la fumada deja un sabor a crema o chocolate, no puedo describirlo bien. Te dan ganas de seguir fumando en cuanto a efectos es muy feliz corte con tricomas lechosos al 90% y transparentes al 10%.

I grow outdoor commercially and I’m not sure if your weather wasn’t cooperating with you, but you really want to go for a minimum of 5 to 10% Amber tricomes I know everybody has different preferences but trust me you will be rewarded with better flavor and smells those terps will be kicking. Looks awesome though!
