Og Kush and AK 47

EirikBloodAxe When buffering with Sensi CalMag Xtra, I do it first for 8 hours, using 60 ml in 30 liters of waterr at 25 *C with a total pH of 7+. EC is then around 1.2 - 1.8. After 8 hours I let the two AutoPots with Coco drain, then repeat the whole process with a fresh batch of CalMag. I mix each 5 gallon batch of buffered Coco with Perlite separately, makes the end product more refined and easy to work with. Half a brick of Ugro Coco Coir is enough for two 5 gallon pots, especially after adding Perlite and drying a short while.. The end result has a perfect EC of 1.2 and pH is 5.8. When I do it this way I have not experienced any CalMag deficiencies, the Coco/Perlite gets a freshly made batch of Canna Coco nutrients. A light feed contains Canna Coco A and B plus Rhizotonic. If the end result has a higher EC than wanted, run some pH correct water till runoff is as wanted. Information I use comes lightly modified from cocoforcannabis. EirikBloodAxe Both seem to be doing well after one week in New grow tent, a big difference compared to the the older OG and AK at that growth stage when without tent.

EirikBloodAxe Hallo everyone. Been a while, busy holiday season. My OG Kush Autoflower and AK-47 Autoflower have both gained some size the past 10 days. If my OG Kush grows as big as it's older sister, then it is halfway. No major issues, feeding each plant twice a day, lights on and 10-12 hours later. With 0.7 liters a time each. First week of flowering. Will gradually add Bloom and PK 13-14 Looking at the two OG Kush next to each other shows how much more it will grow from this week's first flower. Unfortunately I have not done much LST with these plants as I wanted to see the difference in yields when doing minimal LST. It is becoming clear that all LST will benefit end result dramatically. Bud volume is also a challenge, using Canna Bloom Accelerator helps, combined with Canna PK 13-14 I was expecting better bud development. As I am using PK 13-14 with Bloom as soon as flowering starts may be safe but I am thinking it is not doing much. Not easy as a novice to get the timing right for introducing PK 13-14 at the perfect time. Thought using it from start of flowering would be a safe solution. Using a grow tent does make work of some aspects. Trying to get a balance of temperature and humidity at the right places around plants is fun. Growing indoor when there is 4 feet of snow on the other side of the door can be less fun. Heater, 2 Lumatek 200 watt LED lights,intake fan, extraction fan, oscillating fan and humidifier does make it crowded inside a four by four tent. Any thoughts on the best place to have the humidifier? Under plants when they grow big enough, in-between plants or higher up in the canopy, the three different places will all show different percentages when humidity is measured. EirikBloodAxe Good growth this week. This will be end of week 6, introducing Canna Boost and Canna PK 13-14. VERY LOW amount, 0.5 ml per liter for the first week, then increase every week. Being careful with EC targets. Instead of trying to guess the exact moment to introduce Canna PK 13-14 I have decided to use it from the beginning of flower-bloom. Together with Canna Boost Accelerator. If you look at pictures you can see the expected height from the OG Kush by looking at the older sister in the background.. Some good bud development from the older OG, surprised as it has had no LST. Tried some of the bud from my previous Northern Lights Diary, only been curing for two weeks, but the smoke was nice. Mild and wild, good film medicine. Will be using a second humidifier for future grows, need to try and even out the humidity levels throughout the grow tent. Maybe stabel humidity levels will help with bud growth. Also an alternative nutrient, thinking of something organic.. Will also be trying with soil. And definitely a better feeding routine and runoff collection solution. One thing at a time, will be harvesting the last Northern Lights this weekend after a week with just pH correct water. And next week the older OG Kush and AK-47 will be chopped. Leaving just this growdiary with two plants. Happy growing 🤐
