Hi everyone, this is my veryfirst try to make my own goodies. Budget is low, and it must be as stealthy as possible, so I came out with this solution what you can see on the pics. 👆😉 I'm planning to move the plant to a bigger, textil pot, but I'm not sure about the size, since my space is very limited. I was thinking getting an 11 L pot and cut in half, so it won't be so tall, still get 5 L pot for 1 sqft. I did tons of research, but still if you have some good advice, it's very welcomed by me! 😁 So the lights are actually 2 pcs of 12,5 watt philips LED bulb at 4000K, I use them for veg, they give between 500-600 mycromol for my sqft which should be ideal for veg, and I have 2 pcs 19W 2700K for flower, the should give around 1000-1100 micromol for my sqft. This in theory should be fine, but let's see what the reality will be 😅 I hang the lamps just over the plant, while keeping the "diffuser" so its not so concentrated light, should not burn them but let's see. I want to top it once, and after send it to flower with lst. Cheers guys, thanks for checking in! 😁😘😉

I topped her this week, cleaned up some leaves and also added nutrients for the first time, which feels like was a bit too much, next time I only gonna water them without any nutrients. Cuttings was early a bit, but she still grows. :) I got 6 main colas now, i want to double them and than send her to flower. This should be done in the next week. Let's see! 👍😁😎

When should I top first? 😏

Usually the first topping is done above the 3rd or 4th leaf node (not including the cotyledon/ first set of round leaves) since you're growing in a micro grow I would suggest topping once the 3rd node had fully grown and start LST 5-7 days later with tying down the new growth shoots and promoting lateral growth to use your growth space more efficiently. I would also suggest filling up the pot with a bit more soil and to fertilize her, she seems to start developing some Nitrogen (N) deficiency, otherwise seems very healthy!! Good luck!! and happy growing :)

Now I have 6 main branches growing outside, she looks fine altho I think I overdosed her last time with nutrients. She is quite strong thankfully. I watered her on the 25th day, soil has dried out totally. Trying to train her to fill up the space vertically. New branches started to come out from the middle. Once the six mains reaches the side of the tent I want to send her to flower. On the 28th day I did some defoliation, to see what’s going on under the leaves.

How much should I expect my plant to stretches out? It's a white widow & ak 47 mix, 70% indica, photoperiod, in 5L soil. And also when should I expect her to start stretching?

All right now I see I do it in the wrong way, and I should only add a new week when it’s finished. Whatever. This gonna be the last week in veg, next time when the soil dries out I want to turn her into flower, since I don’t have too much space, and a bit worried about stretching out too much. This should be 3-4 days from now (day 30). After all I’m pretty happy with this lil girl, I topped her early, gave her lots of nutrients for the first time, defoliated her like crazy, and she is still doing fine! Looks like the bulbs doing there job for now, at the moment 25w led only, gonna change to 38w when flowering. Let’s see! Changed the lighting on the 32th day, sending her to flower. 12-12 timing is on. I messed up the airflow so the humidity went up like crazy and also no fresh air was getting to her. I solved the issue, now she is fine, but I gave her too much nutrient again sadly. Looks like she is strong enough to survive and keep growing.

Now I have 38w light and 12w for the fan. I was struggling with the airflow once I installed some carbon filter on the beck of the tent. It wasn’t any good since it’s reduced the airflow drastically so I had to remove it. Now thinking on an other solution for the smell if it’s gonna be strong. ( your tips would be appreciated ) I also think I overwatered, but it can be because of the poor airflow as well. Now she is looking great, I hope she will make some nice buds 🙏🏼

So after all she is still alive and looks better than ever, again I did a lot of defoliation, the amount of leafs I cutted already is crazy, since the space is so small and she’s growing vertically mainly, after 3-4 days the leafs starting to block/push each other. I feel like I’m growing a bonsai, but it’s really fun! Now I feel like I got the point how much she wants for food, so she doesn’t show nutrient toxicity anymore which is great. 😁 Also the soil dries noticeably faster, like 2 times faster than before, I still let it to dry out completely, and only water than, but have to water in 3-4 days.

One week has gone, she is stopped growing and now looks like she starts to focus on the buds. Hope they will fatten up like crazy, idk what to expect but really wish for good yield 😂 considering the space and wattage I use I’m pretty satisfied so far, also very first grow so I did not expect to have a plant like this, even if my goal was to fill up this tiny tent. This community helped me a lot, so much info here, lot of diaries to check out what’s goin on, how should the plant look like in different stages of her life, really nice community! 👍🏼 All the best for everyone, let’s keep growing these beauties 😎

Alright, I’m in the 9th week, and I feel like my flowers are not really growing compered to other diaries. I have a lot of white hairs coming out, plant showed some nutrient deficiency, so I gave her more food on 67th day. So I switched to 12-12 almost 4 weeks ago, but my plan looks like I have only switched a week ago or two max. Is it because I compare her to autoflowers maybe? I can only wait now to see what happens.. 😅🤷‍♂️🏻

All right, I watered her once with 5.8 Ph only, and till the last food I used 1.9-3.4-2.4 NPK food since I did not have better. This can be seen on the leaves. From now I’ll feed her 3-6-6 NPK. ~6.3-6.5 ph is what she likes the most in my soil. After all the noobie mistakes I have done, (overwatering, over defoliation, blocking the airflow, nutrient overdose etc) I can say she has got a pretty high stress training lol, but she is still alive and working harder than ever. I was able to manage the problems in 3 days usually. I was hoping that I can finish the grow in 3 months, but it’s gonna be 3,5 maybe? (4weeks from now?) let’s see. On the other hand I totally managed to fill up my growspace, which is very small so it’s not a big deal actually, but still with training I got a fairly even canopy. Next time I may will try mainlining with this strain, I have a few more seed. My goal is really to maximize my efficiency and yield, since I only have this one small space to grow for now.

This flowering stage is soooo loooong I feel like my plant never gonna be ready. I have absolutely no idea how much longer does it take for her to finish, still white pistils everywhere, and the buds don’t really fattening. Still waiting for those weeks when I’m gonna blow my mind about she is getting fat, hope this will happen 😂 patience is not on my strong side unfortunately, but let’s wait and see how she will make in the next weeks. Also the flowering should be 8-9 weeks according to the seller, so I guess it’s gonna be 9-10? I also changed week 6 to veg instead of flower, since she wasn’t really flowering by just then, this way the result gonna be a bit accurate about flowering time. She needed like 2 weeks after switching the light 💡to turn into flowering. I was counting like: OK I switched the light, so now she is flowering. Thanks for checking in, good luck everyone!

Happened what I was afraid of. I got burned her, I can’t decide if it’s light or nut burn. I didn’t change the light except moving farther away a bit, and gave her quite a bit nutrients, from a new one she did not get before, so I think this should be the problem. For the last water (on 87d) I gave her only water, and from now I probably will stick to just PhD water for the end. Harvest should be 2-3 weeks from now maybe? Let’s see. My leafs damaged badly, she got so much stress in her life, I wonder how she is still alive. Next time I may should aim for less but bigger buds, maybe 8-10 buds in total. Now I have like a lot, but they not too big.

She is still alive, after doing all the newbie mistakes I could do, probably multiple times, so that’s a good point. 😂 strain is pretty strong, the next run should be better according to the gained knowledge from this grow 👍🏼Resin still clear, no amber at all, so I should have 2 weeks at least from now? Let’s see if I can keep her alive for that time, she may will fatten up a bit more 🙏🏼

Hi all, Another week passed, she is still alive, this time I let her soil to dry out a little more and only watered her today morning. Only giving her ph-d water for the last two weeks. I hope one more week will be enough for her to finish up, can’t wait to harvest and try the smoke. This last weeks going pretty slowly, feels like it takes forever for her to get ready 😅

Well, my very first grow, 2 main mistakes I done is overdosing with nutrients and over defoliating her. In the next grow I’ll focus to avoid these mistakes, and try to make less but bigger buds. This run was perfect for learning about the plant and the whole process, overall I’m happy to finish with something in my hand.
