I’ve now hit the last vegetation feed for these pretty devils. I have topped the second one so I can compare harvest yields. Starting to flower so will push to 750w.
Was starting to show deficiencies.. so this week I have give the full dosage on.
@Weed_be_thy_medicine,Ask for anything you might need. Remember that you can also use the "questions" section to get a quick response from the whole community 😊👍
@Weed_be_thy_medicine, Well, I can only speak to my experience. throught out the entire grow.. the first node ( round pistal leaves will die off ) . However all fan leaves should NOT... The only time I seen leaves die or starts eating itself is right at harvest.. Leaves turn yellow or brown ..
@liquidsynergy, corona got my working from home too, hence the chance to grow so try stay on top of it - but I never knew I would fall in love with the hobby :) yeah I’m noticing my purple now but wouldn’t say it’s fully covering the leaves about half way
Can I ask you a question? .. is it normal for the first lower fans to start dying now?
@Weed_be_thy_medicine, thanks.. Since I work from home,, I am on top of every aspect 24/7 of my tent.. Such a great hobby. I noticed in one of your pics that its starting to color up.. I mean once they start.. It gets darker and darker.. All your upper sugar leaves will turn dark purple.. looks awesome.
@DoDrugs420, growmie.. man this is useful. Really.. I’ve been reading some books the usual (Danny Danko, Greg Green), but nowhere does it mention this about auto’s (2/3rds measurement). Also can’t work once it starts to flower should I switch to 12/12 for more night time or stay 20/4 for bigger/better buds? (But can cross that road when I get there) it can be confusing because a lot of people say different things and it’s becomes difficult to distinguish what’s right vs who is right. I’m still getting the hang of the questions section it’s just not very ideal on mobile phone so I’ll try and find questions first before asking the most silly amateur questions that will probably just annoy people.
I’m really grateful for this advice thank you; I’m calling this my first grow because I tried a grow with a shitty seed and failed :) I’m now thinking I over fertilised based on what you just said.. thanks man! Love this place
@Weed_be_thy_medicine, thank you, if you need anything just let me know i will probably be able to help but feel free to use the questions section.
imma quote a comment i wrote to another growmie that is just starting up.
"(Nutrient dosages are usually intended for photodependent strains, if you are going to use any in auto's never go over 2/3 of the maximum recomended and start using the nutes progressively, start at 1/8 strenght, move up to 1/6, then 1/4, 1/3, 50%, 2/3.
Allow the soil to dry well before you water again, weed is a weed, weeds need wet dry cycles, therefore having the soil always dry or wet does not help out at expanding the root zone and will eventually show up signs of overwatering.(very common mistake)
Use a ph meter, even if its a cheap 10€ one, but if u can get a 40 or 50€ one its worth the investment since you will use this ph meter for a couple years to say the least. (if you intend to keep on growing ofc)
Be patient, the early stages of the plant's life are really slow compared to how much she grows when she is big already, you may be worried that she might be too small and end up realizing she is actually too big. (take notice of her size at week 4, she should be double that size by the end of flower).
idk man, hard to make a list out of nowhere, but if you have any issue just get in touch and i will do my best to help you out, but posting a question if needed in the questions section should get you a bunch of answers in the space of 24h (Don't follow tips in there so quickly as we sometimes notice how some people just answer as much questions as possible to win the questions contest and end up spreading missinformation, allowing for a whole day at least should be enough for bad advice to get corrected by other growers).
stay lit growmie. )"
Stay lit gromwie.
