The Famous"Punto Rojo" look like that, yes. It got bright red hairs, that develop at the end of FloweringStage. Ive seen "Strainhunters" on Youtube. And Franco and Arjan found one field with that Landrace (Strainhunters in Columbia)And 32 Weeks are a looong time, Very Patient
I’ve lived in neighboring Panama, and all the weed looked pretty much alike. You can usually tell Jamaican from the Colombian, but Panamanian looks just like Good ole Red. What is truly impressive is the scent of lemon, and that at 34 weeks she still has a ways to go! I had a sativa go 44 weeks total from germ to harvest indoors. Worth it. Psychedelic high.
What’s the point you ask @mad_scientist? I’m surprised. I’d have thought any mad scientist, anyone here on Grow Diaries in fact, would surely appreciate such fine, delicious cannabis, rare or otherwise.
@victor_lion, sigue con calma hermano y disfrute!
@victor_lion,
You wrote “I knew that the process time would be very long but the effect would be worth it,”
It’s very true and mind boggling!
To me the most fascinating aspect of cannabis is that the drug effect changes depending on HOW you grow her. Long grow plants are a terrible value, but they are like rare vintage wines. One enjoys for the pleasure not the value.
Most breeders and growers are chasing the pheno that delivers a fair amount of bud in a short period grow. And it’s perfectly understandable to want to go fast.
But what we don’t yet understand about cannabis is why the longer to mature strains deliver a more complex, sublime high than do 8 week autos, or 12 week photos.
Conjecture suggests it’s a simple matter of maturity, but we have no clinical evidence of that. Will long grow become the ‘fine wines’ of weed? And cost much more than generic?
It’s a fun conversation and we talk about it on thetokingheads.com - A Thoughtful Dialogue About All Things Cannabis

@growdoctordc, @mad_scientist just at the beginning of the year I was thinking about cultivating a sativa plant pure of high psychedelia, I knew that the process time would be very long but the effect would be worth it,
, I was considering buying seeds from Zamaldelica, I got two packages of regular seeds at a low price and from a doubtful seller on the web, the packages were super-sensitive, a plastic bag with a paper printed in black and white with the name of the varieties and the logo of the bank, supposedly this seed is taken from an envelope of hindu kush xD lol !, I think I was blessed by the Universe, God told me: I listened to you, take something equally tasty and psychedelic, in short this is the history behind this beautiful plant.
@Robafoco,madre mia! seria el mas afortunado si me tocara esa cepa famosa, sabes a que huele? la mia huele como a manzana o pera, Saludos desde tierras aztecas
Very intetesting that plant! Sure it will be delicious but i bet it will be a nightmare to trim all that leaf! Keep up the good work, and enjoy! Peace ✌️
