Cookies Gelato (Grow 25)

Bluemels The little one is growing exceptionally well. So far, it meets my expectations in terms of growth speed. Just a few days after germination, I was able to choose the strongest seedling. I will top it, LST, and SCROG.

Bluemels The plant is developing beautifully and is getting thirstier; soon I can top and repot her 😘 On day 22, I topped the plant at 5 nodes. Repotted on day 26. 15L The next day, she grew multiple times. 5 cm!!! 😲 So I also switched to the full spectrum of my lighting right away 😄

Bluemels The "little one" has grown enormously after repotting 😍 So much that I bent the main stem from 35cm down to 21cm. It's still very flexible. I was already able to start scrogging on day 29, for which I removed all the sun leaves from the main stem.

Bluemels The plant is developing beautifully. After repotting, it grew to 30 cm within just a few days. So I bent it down to 16 cm 😁 It took a few days for it to get used to the new position. Now it's growing vigorously again 😍

Bluemels After the initial euphoria of Cookie Gelato growing very quickly, I'm realizing again that it always progresses much slower when it comes to the horizontal growth. But it’s getting stronger and pushing the net up nicely. A solid Low Stress is definitely recommended for this variety. On day 47, I did some serious defoliation and removed unnecessary branches.

Bluemels On day 49, I removed a few more branches. After I miscalculated a bit 😬 I only needed half of all the branches for my net 😱 Next grow, I’ll top better at 4 nodes, it’s easier to divide. Now it’s gotten quite tight, it’ll take a little while for it to recover, after that I’ll send it straight into flowering 😄 On day 50, I trimmed again and set up a second net. Now I have the right amount of branches. They can still grow a bit longer before I initiate flowering 😉

Bluemels Well, last week didn't go so well....😞 I totally fell into a chopping frenzy...😱 Then I wanted to make up for a mistake with the next one, and the end result is clearly visible. I wanted to do everything right, but the plant just kept getting smaller.😢 It's going to take a while for the poor thing to recover... Yesterday, I even made little bags over the mutilated shoots to increase the humidity around them. And it worked! They have noticeably stretched within a day!😃 However, I need to keep a close eye on everything so it doesn't get too humid in the bags, which is why I cut a small ventilation hole in each bag today.

Bluemels The last week has seen the Cookie Gelato recover very well 😘 The idea with the bags over the stems was so-so. Some shoots actually got greener the next day, but with some others, the leaves got damp and had brown tips 😬 so off with the bags quickly, slightly increase the humidity, and leave the plant alone. 😴 And the good one has recovered! If everything goes well, tomorrow I wanted to defoliate a bit again 😨 but this time just a little, I’ll send her into flowering in 4 days. Unless I fall into a trimming frenzy again 😬😈 Today while bending, a branch broke off 😢 Fortunately, it wasn't completely through, I fixed it with a toothpick and tape 😜 I hope it recovers again 😬 Unfortunately, the branch didn't recover 😢 I topped the branch next to it and made two out of one 😌

Bluemels The Cookie Gelato has been in flowering for 4 days now. I hope it will grow a bit more into the box; otherwise, I might have trimmed too much off 😶

Bluemels It's going very smoothly now since I only have to water every 3 days. And I leave the plant alone. I probably don't need to defoliate anymore 😜 that's probably enough until the end...😂

Bluemels The week has gone really well again, the Cookie Gelato is growing nicely, it has almost finished its stretch.

Bluemels For a few days now, the Cookie Gelato has been smelling great, and the scent changes from day to day. It's even defoliating itself, which I wasn't planning on anyway. 😁

Bluemels By now, it takes me 1.5 hours to give the Green Gelato her 4 liters. And that's every 3 days 😴. But that's the only thing that takes time at the moment. Otherwise, she's very low maintenance.

Bluemels The Cookie Gelato is smelling stronger every day. And the leaves are turning reddish from the center, making them look purple 😍 It's very easy to care for. I also work with a thermostat and hygrometer 😁 and now in winter, I can create optimal conditions for strains that need a "mild" climate 😎

Bluemels After the Cookie Gelato smelled a bit stronger, it has now become a bit milder. But maybe it's also due to the wind we've been having here lately 😯

Bluemels The smell has become very intense 😲 For the past few days, I've only been watering with water, just 11 days until harvest 😁 I'm gradually lowering the temperature and humidity.

Bluemels Successfully lowered the humidity and temperature, and it obviously made the leaves even more reddish and almost blue 😍 The trichomes look excellent, kind of frosty 😜 Harvest is in a few days 💪

Bluemels It could have been "more" yield, but due to my trimming frenzy, it ended up being only 117g dry weight. That's not bad, though; the quality turned out great in the end, and I'm still quite delighted! The buds turned out really colorful 😍
