Merry Christmas Eve!
Decided to crack a seed (Gelato) and move one out resident (Black Ghost) that's been struggling.replacement Gelato is a crazy mind altering strain. Thanks To Crop King Seeds For That!!
This should be an adventure ,Ive read some have had issues growing this strain and others say it so easy. We will see together considering I am low level scrog and she will be 2-3 weeks behind the others. because of the late addition Now i did hear this strain grows at warp speed. Lets go then!!
Gelato by Crop King Seeds was made by combining two strains; Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. The result was a very powerful hybrid, with THC levels of up to 27.00%! Oh Ya Ba-a-a by😎
Now we wait for the new life form to root and keep her bun warm and in the dark, shouldn't be long bud tenders I'm hoping her package gets opened Christmas Morning .🙏😎

She has risen from the cube and is on her way to glory. The humidity is about to rise soon upwards within the 60's and fans set to rotate for airflow. Expecting 2 more wall mount Oscillating fans soon and remove stationary ones. Just not getting enough air movement activity. I am considering ventilating my Scrog below the screen and above the plastic sheet.😎

Happy New year to a new life, she moving upwards and developing her first set of wings at warp speed and should be ready to go to her permanent home after a few more days of steady incline. So far so good😎

Into the New year and her wings are getting bigger. Won't spend too much more time keeping her in the shade, probably today is a good time as ever to move her position out from under low light
But she will sit in the Humidity tent a few feet away from the 1000w on top of the screen for a few days longer so she gets used to the high intensity light-Don't want to burn those little wings lol.
2 days later she goes into the hive. I have been keeping the nutrition low for now at around 350 ppm in the reservoir tank with a PH hovering around the 6.5-7.0 mark.😎

Well she is now in the hive and doing great even though she gets some nutes from below she is still young so a top feeding once a day helps.😎
Crop King Seeds has done a marvelous job with this strain and so far she is a beauty. There she goes watch and see she's a Crop King Seed. lol💪
She is finally starting to really take shape. She seems to grow a little different than other strains I have grown in the past. Very quick out of the gate I added a little more Nutrition to the mix now. Bumping her up trying to catch the others on the hive.
Crop King Seeds ya can't beat em.
So far pretty impressed with this grow.
She does like the humidity so I will keep her steady at around 70% or higher. Beefed up air circulation a wee bit to compensate the High Humidity😎

Gotta Love Crop King Seeds when they produce nice strains like this it makes growing so much more fum and enjoyable. Ya Crop King!!!!!
She looks healthy and getting to the point where I have to flip to flower as the others connected are 2-3 weeks ahead so I would love to keep her vegging for at least another week or two and I'm sure she would be huge by then. I've been boosting humidity levels for 6 hrs 89 % - 92% daily and then it burns off once the light comes on and the temp in the room climbs. This seem to make this girl quiver with delight😎

She really stretched out way out! Now on to flower now as the others have hit double veg so are so much bigger. We will see what she 's got in the tank.

Decided not to Scrog her she was a wee bit smaller than the rest and just breaking past the net so she will use it as support surrounded by monsters. lol

Now starting 2nd week of flower.
Look at her grow would you expect anything less from a Crop King Seeds seed No Way!.
She is far behind the others but doing great just the same. So easy so far to grow this strain so not sure what the fuss is all about.
I did manage to bend her under the string so technically she is a Scrog. I just did that so to spread her out might get a few more larger buds out of her.😎
Love how she is doing so far.
Keeping the PPM'S Steady for now and added some Seaweed stuff for root growth. We will see how she reacts.💪

She is really looking good. Her leaves have a nice color On-wards we say. Lets get a budding the buds
Crop King Seeds has a real winner here with the Gelato strain.
Probably one of the nicest and easiest strains I've grown to date.
I'm keeping the humidity up a little higher than normal for me when in flower mode just because this girl likes it so much😎

Into week 5 of flower and she is starting to form little buds. I did expect a little faster growth on flowering especially with 1000w but i keep forgetting she is a few weeks later than the others and probably would be ceiling height if she had the time the others have had to veg she is fighting for space now and the overcrowding by both the #3 and Love.
You know you have a fighter when you got Crop King Seeds in your corner.
I'm very impressed given this is the first time i've grown Crop King Seeds.
She is gaining height fast and catching up to the others behind her. Flower period is within 8 to 9 weeks so lets get a moving even faster Gelato😎

Nice buds growing on this one. Into week 5 on the flower and she is popping a few flowers out.
She looks healthy so far and got a great form to her with sturdy base.
She would have been so much bigger had i given her more time to veg. but I can't undo what i've already done but so far i am overwhelmed with this strain and Crop King such a pleasure to grow😎

She is building and stacking a few buds . all is good.
Changed up the reservoir with some fresh nutrition and off we go into another week of flower.
Love how this Crop King Seed is doing in this type of environment she is huge and popping bud out all over the place
Done stretching her branches now it's on to building now

Starting week 8 of flower
Can't wait to try this Crop King Gelato Strain. She looks so good but I bet she smokes even better.
She stacking nicely. Long and thick bud. I trimmed away some of the foliage from the others crowding her out and she seems to be responding a lot better.
Keeping the Nutrition and Humidity stable for now. going to have to add some bud support soon the way she is going.😎

Into week 9 of flower and my Crop King Girl is cruising along building huge buds, I had to tie her up a wee bit she was starting to fall over,
But all is good. Support is there!
Harvest time is just a few weeks away and her buds are hardening fast.
Still no amber trichomes but they are starting to cloud slightly.
Cut back on the nutrition and humidity now just so that mold doesn't set in.😎

Week 10 flower
This Crop King Gelato smells so sweet and looks so plump primed with lots of nice little clear mushrooms,
This being the last 2 weeks before harvest time and she knows it, She is begging to be harvested. Trichomes are starting to get a little more cloudy but still no amber colored ones anywhere
I also lowered the nutrition down brought the Ph down a little too and still adding some Cal/mg PPm's going to drop some humidity and keep those fans a blowing. PPM's are dropping to 400.😎

Last week of flower and my first Crop King Seeds experience is coming to a close. To bad love growing and they make it so easy so far.
Harvest another week and snip snip,
Her buds are very hard and the plant is not as big as the others but large never the less and because there is fewer leaves harvesting this one won't take long. She is getting Mag and Ph adjustments for nutrition now while she gets flushed. 😎

This Gelato strain was easier than they say to grow. Any average grower can get a good harvest from this given the right ambiance. The Buds are rock hard with very little in the way of leaves, making harvest a snip I didn't have any issues at all with this one she grew as expected
I just love this Strain from Crop King Seeds. I was so impressed right from the Germ Stage how easy it was to germinate and grow she produces some really nice buds. Lots of them too. Would love to try other seeds from Crop King.
I drove 2 hours to buy this Gelato strain and it was well worth the trip. Yes you can order online but I like to support the little guy. Picked up some White Cookies too which will be in a future grow. Crop King Seeds haven't disappointed yet.😎
18-4-2021 Harvest Day- A long flowering took this plant to perfection. A breeze to harvest with very little leaf structure to deal with. A pleasure to grow. Hard as a rock Buds Stacked to perfection. Beautiful colors. Can't wait to smoke her. Thanks for tuning in to my first but not last Crop King Seeds Grow👌

Going to have to take a 2 hour drive soon for some new Crop King Seeds Strains from a little hydro shop that carries on Crop King Seeds and will order what i want. I pay a little extra but well worth it looking back at this grow.

I see you started with a high ph. Now in flower you have lowered it. Normally with hydro grows or soiless, the ph for veg cycle is 5.5 to 6 ph with 5.7 5.8 about the best to be set at. When in flower you should try to keep it at 6.0 to 6.5. The sweet spot being around 6.2 to 6.3 in flower. Lowering your bloom nutes for early flowering was good. But hey, things look pretty good. @Canadian_Bud, I have heard of some wells being 400ppm from the cold tap. 300 not to bad. My water is coming from an underground river, supposedly from Alaska. My ph comes out at a steady 6.2. Very very cold. As cold as the water I put in the fridge. Just don't know what elements are making up my 80 to 100 ppm. Neighbouring has his well checked every year and were on the same water table.
@GMSgrows, Well ya got me off the couch lol, My RO ppm is 22 through the filters with a PH of 7.6 Through the tap Hot water is 550ppm and 8.0 ph cold is 300ppm with 8.5ph straight from the well no salt 1 gal every few hrs already had service to change the faucet lol It wore out, go figure. That's why I rent.😎
