Some leaves have started growing. Looks like start of vegetative phase. Still doing some research on training plant. Started adding nutrients - Bio-Bloom.
Good week. First attempt at LST as a first time grower. So will hold thumbs and see how results turn out. Pistons showing, stems/ branches still not as strong so training is still possible.
Went away for Holidays, used the Blumat Easy 1pc self watering system to provide water for plants while I was away. Came back to see a big change in size and amount of flowering on plants. Big difference, especially due to LST and it was very sunny so lighting was good.
I'd check soil/runoff ph and make sure you are in the right range. Also try not to have water sitting on the leaves as it can act like a magnifying glass, and burn the hell out of your leaves. Happy growing.
Some of the leaves are yellow/ brown. Did a bit of research, looks like soil might be dry (especially due to high temps during this time of year) and possibly leaves being burnt by sun.
Watering with a little bit more volumes of water, based on extra heat. Will track and see how week goes. The 2 bad fan leaves which looked really bad, I cut them off. Increase in volume of water for plants really helped due to really hot temperatures.
Week 10 no nutrients (only used on 1st day and 2nd day of week 10) , just straight water.
No nutrients for now. Straight water. Will add nutrients on day 2/3 of week 11. Growing quite nicely for a first grow. Will have to implement a proper LST on next grow. This time around was just to learn about the growing process. Good progress over the past few weeks.
No nutrients for the past week or so. Checking trichomes through 40x magnifying glass to confirm when ready for harvest. As this is my first harvest and first grow, quite nervous about harvesting and the process. But it’s a new challenge which I will take by the buds!
Big Bud is currently looking like this with the trichomes. It’s my first grow so am not sure if this is ready to harvest. Are the trichomes currently an indication to harvest or wait a little bit longer?
I usually check the buds not the leaves because i noticed that leaves trichomes tend to finish up quicker then the ones on the buds probably due to umidity,
When you see mostly white heads with a few ambers you’ll be good to go, as for now i’ll keep it around for a bit the hairs haven’t turnt orange yet
Can't really tell for sure unless you use a proper microscope with x60 zoom I think it is, or super zoom on your phone for an ok shot. They could be cloudy clear or amber lol. But don't go by the leaf trichs as they go amber faster than the bud trichs so will fool you into thinking it's ready to chop. Look on fleabay 60x microscope with a phone connector, about £16. Salut, tes trichomes sont transparents, pour récolter ils doivent être de couleurs laiteuse à ambrée, plus les trichomes sont ambré et plus ta weed aura un effet stone, que des trichomes laiteux = weed avec effet high, j'espère aider, peace..🌲
