Hopefully they all pop.
So one of the gorilla glue had a cracked shell. I soaked it in water for a night. Hopefully it will be ok.
The others were fine.
I used earth dust base in the soil and let it cook for 3 weeks.
It's made up of old mushroom substrate, happy frog, perlite and maybe a little of ocean forest. I ran out and had to mix.
I use a inline carbon water filter so I shouldn't need to PH.
My 8th grow but 1st with the water filter.
Stay tuned
So girl scout cookies came up. Nice to see her.
Gorilla glue, either one, havent showed up. Hopefully things are cool and they are just gathering strength to break the soil. Idk.
At least GSC showed up.
Stay tuned.t
1/7- still no GG. Chalk that idea.
Growing just fine. I am very happy with this plant.
Well there actually looks like copper spots forming on the leaves already. Maybe I should add some calmag? Its awful early for them issues right? In foxfarms ocean forest soil.
Besides that perfect
I added trellis and am thinking of mainlining her. Or grow natural.
1/16,- so today I topped her. I want to maybe mainline her. Idk. Also have some random psilocybin cubensis popping up from me using old mushroom substrate. Added tomato trellis.
So far so good.
So I topped getting ready for mainline. These will be my 1st real ones I done it too. They are healing great and starting to be ready for the next set of topping.
Got new light
Hlg30w uva
This plant is recovering well from the second topping. Idk if I'm going to do 3 toppings because the girl scout cookie is showing preflower hairs. So I'm just going to low stress strain and defoliate the rest of the time.
I actually was seeing copper brown spots on largest fan leaves so I added some earth dust boost for the next stage, flowering.
So I'm only adding filtered water at this point. I will add earthdust boost in 30days.
Ok so I really defoliated her. I also broke the stems on like 2 spots. Along with another plant I have.
So she seems to be recovering from the leaf strip. Then I broke stem trying to train. I wrapped it up and trying to just leave her alone before I love her to death.
I actually am missing 2 mains. Then cracked the one in half. Taped shut.
Its slowly recovering. Wonder how much yeild I lost. Plus all the time this us taking ya know. 6. Weeks. And this is it. Still have high hopes.
Ok so she is bouncing back from hard beginning. Being topped, then topped some more. Then broke couple mains off. Snapped another in half and its healed like pacman. Hanging Open mouth. At least it's still on there.
Not really into flower yet due to being HST.
Shes getting more leaves that get bigger.
Everything got their last dose of earth dust boost. Now its carbon filter water only.
I aslo turned on my HLG 30w UVA. It's going to be on the rest of the time during light cycle.
Girl scout cookies auto really can take some stress. Very strong plant. Recovers fast even when mainlined and stripped of her leaves. I'm very impressed and I hope the buds development matches its vegative aggressiveness.
She took awhile to switch over to flower tho. I hope it doesn't shorten her life span but pushes it back.
So she is really slow switching to flower because of all the training that's been done to her. Botched the mainline. Next time I wont be so rough with the stems.
Regardless,
She has bounced back wonderfully. I hope to still get some good buds.
I also started another seed. She hasnt popped yet. It will be a different diary.
She us very healthy. I gave her a light dose of tea I made with root organics uprising bloom.
So finally she is switching to making buds well now. They are not like the indica I'm used to. More thin and scraggly.
I also started spraying 120ppm colloidal silver on her 2x a day. Plan on using the pollen on jolly rancher gelato clones. Plus whatever I can.
Trying to keep up with her. Defoliation. Nutrients. I dont want her turning yellow like some of my others do when they switch to flower.
So she is growing good. I've noticed an issue I seem to always have and the plants start to fade yellow lime green at the beginning of flowering. I believe it is possible that I have been overwatering trying to keep the living soil alive.
I'm trying to cut back on the H20.
I am still spraying one node with silver. My homemade 28ppm and store bought 120ppm. Dont want to take chance.
Trying to create my own special hob sauce ya dig.
I started Aurora root organics dry amendments on top of my earth dust. Also added extra life with great white.
She is same age as the other fastbuds in my tent. Strawberry pie is harvested (1.75oz)
Gorilla cookies are next down.
Girl scout cookies here has been behind due to mainline and genetics I reckon.
I made an auto cloner and it's really cool and works great. Havent actually tried it on clones yet. It's for my photoperiod
so im just giving her a light dose of the terp teas. i shouldnt really need to do anything but water her from this point on. she has recovered slowly from the overwatering that cause yellowing of the whole plant and i also gave her nutrient burn a couple weeks ago and maybe last week too. or its from me letting her dry out and her having to much already in the soil but as bad as the overwatering issue was i needed to let her dry. she did start regainging all her green color back which is great cause i usually cant get that done before harvest. using living soil and trying to keep it moist is tricky. anyway she is fattening up. the node im spraying with collodial silver isnt showing any pollen sacs.
i had the UV light off for awhile but i turned it back on to finish off the girl scout cookies auto. stay tuned.
the mushrooms are P.cube variety "columbian rust spores"
ok so i just counted the weeks and we are actually on week 15 going on 16 since ive planted this seed. she has been thru so much stress early on in her life. being topped and then topped again and again. creating a mainline wasnt easy and i broke off one of the mains early on so that had to be hard on her and the yield. i defoliated so much one week after all the toppings that all she had left was the new growth tips. i mean, man she was down to nothing! stems and just the new nodes. then she was repeatedly overwatered and suffered full on yellowing of the whole plant. i finally got that straightened out. finally started to see her turn back green. the buds just keep on growing.
she is just doing so well.
i had one small branch i bent and tied down since she started budding and i sprayed collodial silver on that bud and branch the whole time and had no success with making pollen sacs appear. i will try the C.S. again but on a whole plant instead of just one branch. NO POLLEN SACS:(
the buds have been growing at a good pace i think. fattening up. pistils just keep showing up everywhere. i have been using the UV light to boost trichome production. she is getting really frosty.
tried to take a couple close ups. still learning my camera. its not the best but its better than my phone.
check out the camera and lens sweet seeds is giving away in their contest. thats cool. love to win a contest. that was the whole point of me getting a camera. i really enjoy taking the photos and looking at them. so pretty and amazing the way this plant survives and thrives.
well idk how long till GSC is ready. i think mainlining her as pushed her due date back. i didnt think autos worked like that but it did. which is great. plants got some extra time to fatten up for me.
until next week.
turn on , tune in, drop out
some extra photos during wk 16 for this plant. so im just catching up on the weekly logs.. so i just added a week and put pics on here that i just took this morning. so the week is 16 im sure. this is the longest growing auto ive ever grown. the trichomes are almost all cloudy and some clear and amber but not much of either. so much cloudy. didnt take no trichome pics but i think i will for the next set of photos. shes beautiful and just thickening up daily . frosty as a heck.. love her. im sure she will be worth the wait. who said mainlining autos is bad. lol. im also going to mainline my gorilla girl XL auto. i have 4 of them and im going to only do it on one. check it out.
ok so this plant was easy to grow for the most part. i topped, topped, and topped again. i mainlined this plant and then when that was done stripped her bare to the tips. she grew back from all that while being overwatered. that being said she was so strong and the buds were so pretty and had lots of trichomes, the buds started to show hints of purples and dark undertones. on the buds closest to the light. she had a couple buds that grew thick and wider than the normal cola tip.
this seed was also a freebie from my other order (gorilla cookies & strawberry pie).
excellent for free. i cant and wont complain. wasn't a perfect grow or a perfect plant , but it was worth it and the smoke is good.
when i exhale i think i can taste like chocolate chip cookies. maybe its a mind trick or its the terps. either way i like it. its smooth for not even being cured yet. filled up almost 3 quart jars. i use 62% humidity packs and burp the jars 2x a day for 1st week.
the feeling this strain gives me is more of hybrid 50/50. i get good and stoned and relaxed but also want to get up and do something. i like that.
well enjoy, because I will.
love ,
