Started the girls in paper towels on a plate covered with plastic wrap. I used a seed tray heater with a stat to keep the temp at 78 degrees. And a couple el cheapo led lights just for kicks. They all sprouted within 4 days. So I popped them into their final home to start the next week.

Getting things settled. The tent is in the basement so when our heat goes down at night, it gets chilly down there. I’ve decided to go 24/7 with the lights since I also use them for heat, especially at night. I might be able to give them a break during the day for an hour without getting them too cold but haven’t experimented with that yet.

I really need the heat of the lights to keep the inside of my tent warm. To warm the air around the tent 24/7 would be expensive- much more expensive than using the lights all the time. But will this work with 24 hour lights? Will that stress the plants? Using auto flowers.

technically. Yes plants can be grown under 24 hour light. according to studies done on plants grown in 24 hour light. You have autoflowers so give it a try and see how it goes.. Definitely someone will come along and be like NO this what I do.. But science and studies done says plants will develop a Circadian rhythm even under 24 hour lighting so as long as they autoflower like they are suppose to you should be A-ok.

Chugging along. Taking a risk and going away for nine nights! Set up a webcam so I can see them at least a little. Also set up an auto drip watering system and WiFi temp sensor. Even though I won’t be able to control anything remotely, at least I will be able to watch problems happen live!

Was away and monitoring on my webcam. It was tough to watch things happen and not have any control over it! The humidity went really high really quickly and I am wondering why. Won’t find out for a while! But every day the plants grow taller and they seem to be healthy!

Not much new to add here. Messing around with supplemental LED lights just for fun. It is becoming more obvious that 5 plants in a 2.5 x 2.5 was a little ambitious. My plant in the middle is way behind the others. We shall see if I need to find her a new home before this is done.

Still growing. Temp and humidity have all leveled out. No big swings. The exhaust fan comes on when it gets too warm and it’s a constant cycle of warming up a few degrees, the exhaust fan kicks on and removes the warm air and then it kicks off. Watering by hand shine I’m around but have the auto-waterer handy. I’ve definitely been snipping a few sun leaves to light some light shine through. Also, see question below.

Chugging along. Have had some moisture issues in the tent- pooling water on the floor. Added another fan to keep things moving plus reduced the temp at which the exhaust fan blows one degree. That seemed to help. I’m a little worried that the buds seem so small this late in the game. I’ll officially ask a question about this later, but I have been having a lot of condensation inside my tent. That’s because it is in a cold part of my house. And though I do have two fans running and the temp is set low, the condensation is running down my walls and under my floor tray. Not a huge issue except I tried wiping down the walls today and bent a pretty good bud stalk. Not sure if it will keep growing or if it will be an early sacrifice. But, bummer all the same. Also, I figured out that I was a week off. So, just starting week 8.
