This is my setup. Not fancy. I am not sure I have enough light so I’ve added some cheap LEDs just for superstition’s sake.

Getting things settled. The tent is in the basement so when our heat goes down at night, it gets chilly down there. I’ve decided to go 24/7 with the lights since I also use them for heat, especially at night. I might be able to give them a break during the day for an hour without getting them too cold but haven’t experimented with that yet.

I really need the heat of the lights to keep the inside of my tent warm. To warm the air around the tent 24/7 would be expensive- much more expensive than using the lights all the time. But will this work with 24 hour lights? Will that stress the plants? Using auto flowers.

technically. Yes plants can be grown under 24 hour light. according to studies done on plants grown in 24 hour light. You have autoflowers so give it a try and see how it goes.. Definitely someone will come along and be like NO this what I do.. But science and studies done says plants will develop a Circadian rhythm even under 24 hour lighting so as long as they autoflower like they are suppose to you should be A-ok.

I’m using fox farms soil. I have Humboldt Nutrients ‘Grow’ and ‘Bloom’ liquid to add when the time is right. Considering the value of the soil in the first place, when should I start the nutes and at what strength per gallon of water? Been trying to research- nothing is clear.

Ik ga ervan uit dat je kweekt in Fox Farm Ocean Forest, Potting Soil?
Deze hoef je in het prille begin niet te voeden, maar intussen mag je starten met je groeivoeding.
Je kan een schema vinden met jouw voedingsstoffen, hier op Growdiaries.
Dit kan je terugvinden bij "Voedingsstoffen", gaan naar Humboldt Nutriënts en daar de juiste voedingsstoffen selecteren.
Je kijkt dan vanaf welke week je hoeveel en wat je moet geven en begint daarmee.
Nadien kan je altijd nog aanpassen naargelang de behoefte van je plant.
