So I started germination of 1 Cbd Medi Kush bean on 01/14/2021. I'm using the paper towel technique. I folded the paper towel in half than misted it damp not saturated. Then folded the paper towel to cover the seed. I than stuck the paper towel with seed into a ziplock bag. Sealed it up and put it into a cool dark cupboard.
This lady will be going into my 12/12 from seed. 1 gallon SOG grow. Cant wait to get this grow up and live. Get a nice sea of colas booming in the setup. It's always a pleasure running Spliff seeds genetics.
After just over 7 days of germination time a sprout has bursted to the surface. Marking this day 1 of this ladies life. We are running her in a 12/12 from seed SOG grow. Veg will be as long as the lady takes to hit maturity. Usually roughly 4 weeks.
I generally run my SOG grows for 2 weeks 18/6 than flip to 12/12. Last run I had one open spot at the flip so I through a lady in to germinate and sprout under 12/12 lighting. I really liked the results so I decided to do a whole run like that and see how it goes.
At day 5 I will introduce her to a micro dose of nutrients. Break her in slowly to a good diet. I will update the feeding chart and diary than. Very excited to get this underway.
At the start of the second week this lady has been all roots. Just in the last 24 hours I've seen a increase in foliage growth. Hopefully shes adjusted to the 12/12 start. Fingers crossed for a big week of growth ahead.

She had a slow week but started to pick it up end of last week. Just got her on some nutes for this week. Hope to supply her a boost to get her going. She's been flirting with taking off for a little while. It should be any time now.

Starting the 4th week and its on now. This lady is making a move at filling out a bit. Hopefully she's done being pissy with my light schedule lmfao. Time to get to work girl.
Didn't bump her nutes up. Shes Hopefully on pace for that come mid week. Been keeping up with the preventative treatments. Shes due for a good shower in the next couple days.

This lady doubled in size in a hurry. Hope she's done with the large jump and settles down soon. We shall see.... her shape and form was pretty dictated by available space. As she seems to get bullied by every other genetic lmfao. Lets see if this ladyvstarts fighting back for space.

This lady is definitely a product of her congested spot in the SOG. She did manage to extend her foliage and take over some more space. She is fighting back against the other plants for room finally. She seized her huge burst of stretch and has since really concentrated on making some flowers. This week I should see a large influx in bud development.
I treated her with Dr zhymes as a preventative. Got her on some more cal mag. Other than that I'm just watching what she makes of herself. I love this genetic and it always has strength. The explosive tendencies are on the horizon.

Bud development has really picked up. Shes starting to really pile it on now. Some nice trichome action as well. Shes definitely trying to make something of herself... well she battles for space. Nothing much changed on my end... stand pat. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
Buds are really coming along. Trichomes are making there presence known. Flower Development has really picked up. So I lowered the gro dosage and got her on a pk booster. That will support her primarily flower focus.
I will continue to slowly lower the nitrogen levels as her needs for it continue to decrease.

This lady is really bulking up! Fattening up those sweet bud sites. And oh my the frost! Very satisfied with the production outta this 1 gallon girl. Plus looks like she will finish up a touch quicker cuz of the smaller container too.
Nothing much has changed with the feed. Except now I'm giving kool bloom with the feeding. Plus giving it with 1 of the normally straight water dumps in the cycle. My pk battle has subsided for now again lol.

Swelling and bulking, bulking and swelling. This baby is coming to a close quick as she plows through the bulking phase. Putting on a thick layer of frost thats starting to glisten as the trichomes begin to get cloudy. Majestic to watch her show her true beaty during peak flowering.
No change in the feeding department. I'm going to ride it through with this until its time for the flush. Right now its rinse and repeat until shes getting good and ready. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
@Ferenc,I totally understand wanting to run new genetics. I'm always rotating in a bunch of new strains. Do a huge variety ALL the time. Keeps the growing game interesting as well. Tending to all the different plants needs. Tranquility fam.
@4F1M6, Beans are not an issue I have got a lot but I have already grown those types and I like doing more different strains at the same time....
So seeds were posted just before the new year with first class and just got here.....🙄 I am waiting for an other one but not here yet....

@Ferenc,All those are bangers. I've been smoking on the spliff berry for the past week. Loving it just cant put it down. Fucking hate the post nowadays. I always make sure I got beans ready to go well before I need em. Hate down time more than the postal service.
