I started this week off by changing to MC 2-part to dial in my nutrients. The TPS bloom nutes were causing significant calcium precip so I dropped those on 3/18 and started alternating between Greenleaf Bud Explosion and Sweet Candy at 0.5 gr/gal. Along with 1ml/gal calm-mag plus, 2 gr/gal MC Part-A, and 1.2 gr/gal MC Part-B, I typically had ~950 ppm and 1.4 EC @5.8ph.
On 3/16, 10 days from flip, I noticed buds popping up all over each of the girls. That's the day after 3 of them went ape shit and kicked the stretch into overdrive requiring me to move my lights up ~12 inches to accommodate.
DB, is slow and steady. She's not excited about anything and is in no real hurry to get anywhere. She's perfectly fine just chugging along, sipping on bloom nutes, and making bud sites.
Overall this was an easy week of learning my plants, feeding them, and watching them grow like crazy.
Why not just go right in to the 3gal pots?
I do and its very nice not to worry about transplant.
I'm even dialing in how much water to give each week pretty nicely
@MrHightimes, I grew 6 autos right before this grow and planted them straight into the 3 gallon buckets. Because they didn't take much water for the first month I ended up with a lot of salt build up that caused issues before I could identify and correct.
I figured, the solo cups would allow me to water to runoff and avoid the build up.
I'm about to try some Megacrop here soon.
My friends are growing some pretty plants with it
my 9 part GH does nice but its ALOT and the ppm is so high!
@MrHightimes, Megacrop is great but keep some extra calcium and Epsom salt on hand if you're using RO water.
If you haven't ordered yet, I would suggest getting the 2 part MC so you can reduce N levels and up PK during the later stages of flower.
