3d week since rooting this is first update since bagseed coffeeshop the freak brothers
The previous weeks can be seen in that diary.
I am growing her long enough to get some babies out of her, perhaps i'll take the first samples coming week.
She grows kinda freaky uneven, the uneven growing baby was the only survivor of 5.
I just grow this one for the taste, after taking clones, i will put her in 12/12
--midweek update
I took 3 cuttings, i hope at least one survives (-3d day cutting update, still looking good)
playing with the thought to try and make some seeds on one or two branches, i will have to make collodial silver to do that. if so, i'll post some updates.
this week i decided to take some cuttings, i only took 3, recovery was fast.
i read good things about aloe vera with cuttings, so i dipped the cuttings in aloe vera instead of cloning gel, it's the fourth day now and they are still alive and kicking (no sign of growth though)
when the cuttings don't survive (i hope 1 survives) i will try to reveg this one at the end of the cycle.
further all looks well, the leaves look a bit strange, i put her in the window, so i removed the tips of most leaves to give her a less weedy look
--Update day 2--
all 3 babies are showing first sign of new growth, i didn't expect all 3 of them to root so i put them together.
--Update day 5
i put the babies in direct sunlight at 28 degrees celcius, they didn't like it and 2 of 'm almost died. I put the lid back on with some extra water,
Preflowering 🙌
I tried different soil this grow, i think the leaves look healthier than normal.
it's cheap soil from a supermarket, in a couple of dutch forums i read about it and the writers all had good results.
I think the leaf looks healthy
the plant is very small, i kept her this way, by using small pot and not vegging it too long.
I had a little spider mite problem, i scared them away with some mitekilling spray
Plant looks healthy, by reccomendeations from others i'm growing this one on cheap soil from "aldi" supermarket (many had good results with this soil)
Bud's are developing slowly
everything looks nice
Happy about the results on this soil
price of the soil was around 1 euro (around 1,20 dollar)
nothing negative this week
let's wait for next week, maybe suddenly massive buds will pop up ;)
LoL under 50 watt light
buds are forming slowly
it's just the strain that pops the buds a little late
this week i will leave nutrients the same as last week
thinking about starting with molasses end of this week, perhaps a little earlier
she smell so sweet
i get the feeling to cut a piece and start tasting what i smell
but, the bud is too small... LoL
I'm waiting for the first buds to start ripening
no major change in ec
buds are ripening
raised nutrient level a bit, i think i will flush next week (half or whole week)
hoping to see the spider mites go away before they start webbing
the large amounts of small buds are becoming more dense every day
this is a low yielder, but the taste is awesome.
there is visible damage due to spider mites, but, the infestation is under control.
i used garlic extract water to keep it in control, but as visible, a million eggs were layed, they just die when they start to eat their way out
all the tiny buds are finishing nicely
the weather is good, so i put her outside
just flushing no nutrient
smell is wonderfull smells really good
buds are finally a bit dense
the same, but this one is outdoor
no big buds, but very intense scent and strong weed
very very high thc level is building up at the moment
can't wait to taste this one
this one was supposed to finish this week, but ii think it will be next week
i tried some buds and taste was good, but could be a lot better with some extra time...
taste is very sweet and chemical at once (chemical in a good way)
that taste does not come from nutrients, it's the strain
before i smoked zambeza's misty gorilla, this was the best smoke. taste is nearly the same, but more tasty in all aspects.
this was harvested in the summer of 2018, but i forgot to close the diary, diary closed end 2019
@ChefDan420, this phenotype is fantastic, i don't think i'll ever find the same phenotype with the same freaky sweet and chemical taste
yields very little though, but the high makes it worth the trip
