It was a tough germination. Dropped 2 seeds originally. Soaked 24 hours in a glass of filtered tap at 200ppm. Placed them in my paper towel setup; in the dark, 79f, 50-60 humidity. 3 days no sprout so I dropped the third seed in same water conditions. Third soaked 24 hours then went into the same paper towel environment as the other two. On the seventh day I had one sprout and that went into the soil mix.
I've grown three other GCS plants with no germination troubles. This was unique to me as the seeds that still have not sprouted were much smaller than the seed that did sprout. Smallest seeds I've seen so far.
Here's the survivor. She head a seed helmet for a couple of days but it finally slipped off and left her with some strange looking growth. Kept her under 24 hour light with 50 percent humidity and about 78f. 6ish PH with half teaspoon of PH Down.
Been chugging along. Big bloom and molasses in tandem with cal-mag. I'm working a feed, feed, water schedule. Sunlight for part of the day. I thought the droop was possible over water but I let her dry out and she still like this. Runoff was a bit High at 1100. Now it's been at a steady 900ppm.
Not sure what's going on with this one. The yellow cotyledons are a bit concerning. She's drinking about a half gallon of water every 2-3 days. Water...out of the tap at ppm 300-425 high 7 PH. PH downed to 6.5 or so. Hoping for the best but not sure how this is gonna turn out. Runoff is now at 800ppm and I've got about 600ppm going in now.
Same watering schedule but I felt the girl was dying so I mixed a 1/4 teaspoon of grow big with a half gallon of tap then used that as a folaire spray. I fed her a couple times and am seeing the color come back and she's starting to perk up.
The deep green of too much nitrogen had me pull back on the Grow Big after I fed with 1 teaspoon per gallon. We're in the beginning of the week and I'm feeding only Big Bloom and molasses for a bit.
Started LST on this little one. Bent and broke the canopy. Upped the Grow Big about a tablespoon. New light coming soon. Going pretty smooth but she seems a bit on the small side.
