Day 6 above ground for these ladies and even having never grown before these scream different genetics to me so it looks like we have 1 x ChemDawg and 1 x Northern Lights after I Murdered one.
Whilst I don't know enough about the characteristics of each, it looks in their leaves that there is a clear contrast in the size of the fan of the leaves with one being wide and stumpy the other being long and thin... How do you like your girls?
I think the tall lady is the Chemdawg and the stumpy leaved honey is the Northern Lights but time will tell
EDIAGD
Day 9 and Chemdawg is already well past 2nd Node and looking a nice healthy green. Delicately moved the top fam leaves outward a little just after this image to help with light to the bottom.
Very early for LST so could have an adverse affect but change is so minor I'm hoping it yields more good than bad for it.
Day 17 update.
The Fast Buds Chemdawg Auto has now been Topped at the 5th Node and is growing much faster than the Northern Lights which is just approaching its 3rd Node however there is much tighter Node Spacing on the Northern Lights so looking forward to getting stuck in to the LST and Leaf Tucking on that one.
The Light Cycle Information on Weeks 1 and 2 was incorrect these ladies have and will remain on 18/6 throughout their life.
Still feeding only water until around day 21 / 22 though this could be longer for the Northern Lights.
The Baby Chemdawg is following the same trend as the older sister and has reached up for the light god pretty rapidly and left a good space before introducing her second node which should be arriving any day now as she sits on Day 6 above ground.
Exciting times to come the next couple of weeks as these girls establish an age gap it's going to make the whole process much easier to manage. I'm expecting there to be around 1-2 weeks between the first 2 and then 2-3 for the final girl. In that final 3 weeks I will be planting another 3 Girls to get a head start on the veg of my next grow.
Unsure what strains they will be yet but make sure to follow my profile to stay updated.
Im in the process of making a YouTube Channel with @autobeastautoflowering from AFN who has written a Beginners Guide to Autoflowers and Topping to reach the auto limits.
I'd highly recommend visiting his threads on AFN if you're new to growing or even if you're just curious how you can yield over 4oz per plant consistently without the need to grow in Coco and constantly PH Balance.
His methods are nowhere to be seen on YouTube and I'm learning first hand the true autobeast methods with this grow as he is mentoring me every step of the way.
A true growbro.
So here we are with the latest update from the 2 x ChemDawg and 1 x Northern Lights from Fast Buds.
Plant 1 - Northern Lights Day 28
As mentioned in the previous post this girl was well and truly ready for Topping. So with @autobeast at the helm off we go and as you can see she's got a nice amount of growth on every node making fastening it down to the edge of the pot with little to no stress on the branches themselves.
With the split at the top of the top 2 Nodes we decided to wait a few days before trying with those last 2 branches so wishing her a speedy recovery.
Next time you see her she will look a completely different girl.
Plant 2 - Day 21 Chemdawg
This girl is BUSHY. She's ready for her first dose of nutrients but decided to wait an extra day to keep her in the same feeding schedule as her older cousin. The Node spacing on this stocky little lady is intense and with all the branches approaching the edge of the pot she's gonna be ready for her LST by the weekend only this time we won't be getting rough with her leaf tucking as there's nowhere to tuck anything because they're all so close together.
Plant 3 - Day 15 - Chemdawg
This little lady is fast becoming my favourite of the 3 (Slightly biased because this lady is the one I'm being let loose with to try my own AutoDevil methods so I'm quietly making her feel more special so she steps up and delivers.
In contrast to her sister on Day 21 she's shooting up nicely with some good even node spacing similar to that of the Northern Lights.
As its day 1 of week 3 I'm going to be trying the only change in nutrients I'll be making to @autobeast Advanced Nutrients range and trying BioBizz Fish Mix which he has recommended as being a possible replacement for the Sensi Grow and Bloom so I'm happy to use my test tube baby as the prototype for seeing if the BioBizz can deliver the same results as the Sensi Grow Range.
I think I'll be Topping her at some point this week as her 4th Node is well on her way to once that 5th drops it'll be snip snip.
I'll update in the next couple of days after the day 28 and 21 have had their next batch of Sensi Grow Parts A and B and Molasses and once I've topped my precious little baby
****Week 3 Updates as I didn't realise you can't add to a week once you've confirmed it*****
Day 21, 15 and 9 for these 3.
Day 21 Northern Lights - Topped on Day 17 and daily leaf tucking to maintain the even canopy we all know and love.
Day 15 - Chemdawg
A slow starter for sure but having not forced herself upward for the light but remained healthy her Node spacing is very tight indeed which long term is a good thing but short term it makes leaf tucking more important and in due course LST will be needed with more intent than the Chemdawg who is bushing out nicely.
Day 9 - Chemdawg #2
This one has confused me a couple of times with its leaf structure and had me questioning if I had the other 2 girls the wrong way round but with the latest stretch its looking like we were right to begin with so expecting it to start with a nice healthy spread in the next week with similar node spacing to her sister.
Strap yourselves in this is gonna be quite the revelation update.
Day 33 - Northern Lights
This girl is fast becoming the pride and joy of the tent showing no signs of flowering yet still well and truly in Veg mode without the female indicators about to end week 5 so she will be getting another round of LST this weekend to maximise freeing up access to light for the parts that otherwise without a Defol wouldn't get chance to blossom.
She wants the full tent to herself at this point and the next update is going to help her with that.
20210219_103956.jpg
I mean just look at her. She's a monster!
Now onto some slightly less satisfying news and an admission of another noob fail.
Day 28 - Chemdawg #1
This girl is abnormal. She has already made it perfectly clear she's not far off going into flower so whilst I did tie this girl down for some LST upon inspection from @autobeast he recommended we leave this stocky girl to try and get a bit of height without LST.
Now for the admission....
When this girl was topped I cleaned out the top 2 Colas in the process so the top node was literally just two big fuck off Fan Leaves sucking all the good stuff away from the rest so off they came last night leaving this girl with only 6 branches to grow from instead of what should have been 8 had I topped her properly. In a way I'm glad this has happened and I spotted it myself and managed to understand why she wasn't flourishing as much as her cousin. Granted they are different Genetics but you only need to look at the next girls update to see that something just doesn't seem right with this one.
20210217_222845.jpg
Here's what she could've won but instead we are going to be leaving her to her own devices. I am a little gutted about this as I've only been able to observe the Defol and training on one plant before I'm let loose with my own little lady that you're about to see next. Here's how Chemdawg #1 is looking today.
20210219_104008.jpg
Don't get me wrong she is very healthy and happy and already kicking out that dank stardawg aroma and she may surprise with some fat nugs but I expect her to be having a shorter life span than the Northern Lights and with this in mind I'm going to apply that insight to the 3rd girl.
Day 19 - Chemdawg #2
With the mistake in mind from the previous Topping I double checked with AutoBeast on where to top this and I'm kinda happy that he just stayed silent and said top it where you want its your baby. So being careful not to cut the top cola off too I chopped her head off and cheered her up with 1L of Water with 2ml BioBizz Fish. I've also been adding a foliar spray to her of the biobizz FishMix.
Once the leaves reach the edge of the pot I'll be starting with 4ml of Parts A and B of Monkey Nutrients Grow Feed and 1 tablespoon of Blackstrap Molasses every 3 days.
This is my favourite 6 days of growth I've witnessed so far as the plant tries to decipher which of its Colas is dominant.
20210219_104018.jpg
Summary
Don't top your main cola off when you realise what you've done it'll hurt like hell.
Approaching 2nd week of feed keep a closer eye on the water levels in your plant they get thirsty sometimes but other days not so much so there is no one size fits all in those weeks 4-5 in my experience so far in Organic.
Not all plants have the same life span so if growing a variety in one place understand that they will all veg and flower at different ages so while it's nice to have rules of thumb ie no earlier than x to top or no later than day x to start feed there will always be flex between days and that applies even to the same genetics although perhaps not so prominently variant.
Every day growing is a day learning.
Ok so it's end of week 5 for this @fastbuds_genetics @fastbuds_backup_account @420fastbuds Northern Lights Auto and well just fucking look at her.
She's taking over the tent with her canopy dwarfing the 2 Chemdawg Autos and only just showing signs of Preflower.
A vast contrast from the 2 Chemdawg but the aerial view gives an idea of the incredible amount of Bud Sites formulating on the upper canopy.
I've been leaf tucking twice a day this week for around 15 minutes each time talking to my girls about what I'm doing to free up light to the lower canopy and its bearing fruit for sure.
I knew this week was going to be an eventful one for this staggered tent but having thought the Chemdawg had fallen behind she is in fact further ahead in her life so adjusting the feed schedule for the baby accordingly.
Every day growing is a day learning.
It's the beginning of Week 8 for the leading ladies and starting Week 6 for the AutoDevil project.
The Northern Lights has had its last Grow Feed this morning and the Chemdawgs have both been switched to flower feed.
The older Chemdawg girl is getting 5ml Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A and B and a blob of Molasses.
The younger Chemdawg Girl is getting 5ml Monkey Nutrients Bloom A and B as well as 2.5ml Monkey Nutrients Boost and PK/14/15 with the slob of Molasses.
The 4th girls first 4 leaves are out but not fully established
Shes not messing about just like her sister.
I've been spending twenty minutes on a morning and night leaf tucking the monster in anticipation for the final Defol just before the feed is switched.
The Chemdawgs didn't need Defol and I'm debating even bothering Topping the 3rd one. I want to see how she would perform without training for educational purposes.
Just water between feeds but the monster is drinking 4.5l a day already... Crazy.
Day 25 - Chemdawg Auto
I topped this girl 7 days ago and each branch is wrestling for top spot as it stands the 2nd lowest branch is Topping the race for light which is a good indicator of a healthy plant as naturally the top branch should be reaching highest.
This girl hasn't had any LST and having seen how her sister has responded to hers there was and is very minimal lower growth that would need access to more light so for now I'm going to keep an eye on her and see if some lower branches start gaining momentum worth training it out.
This is quite unlikely as because her older sister is not taking up much surface area in the tent with full training I've decided to pop another of her sisters into germination and bring a triplet into the tent in the next few days.
Since both the already established girls are looking to not need to branch out much I'm going to leave the youngest to grow and evolve strictly with Monkey Nutrients and no LST and see how it compares to the older girl on Advanced Nutrients with LST.
Here's how she looks end of Day 25
20210224_220843-01.jpeg
Chemdawg #2 - Day 38
Now I'm coming to understand this girl I'm starting to believe she's the little engine that could.
Although she hasn't bushed out like the AutoBeast her node spacing from day one was so narrow and tight that I think for the newer girl I'll maybe top her a bit later after more modes are established to counter the minimal undergrowth having more canopy to work with could be something to note for my future endeavours when I spot similar characteristics early days.
Still plugging along nicely although earlier in the blog I suggested she may have been younger because she wasn't as lively as the AutoBeast she is in fact further through her life its almost as though she skips Vegetation Mode and jumps straight into Preflowe
For the LST addicts I'd suggest acting early to encourage it as opposed to later to allow it on this strain. I'll be leaving her to reach her harvest naturally with her Advanced Nutrients Grow and Bloom with Molasses then water in between feeds.
The Engine That Could is really starting to smell like that now infamous Stardawg aroma but I've always found it doesn't matter how the stardawg strains smell it's all about how dem terps be hitting.
So until this girl is rolled up into a RAW I still believe she is gonna do bigger things than the last girl in the tent as far as couch lock goes but I'm now loving every minute of growth.
Heres end of Day 38 feed day tomorrow for all the girls.
20210224_220906-01.jpeg
As you can see from the top down view the lower canopy has had full access to the light but just hadnhasnt wanted to compete for it and are already well into preflower after 5 weeks.
I've got visions of tightly packed petrol fuelled Nugs of joy for this girl because of the dominant bully next to her she's having trouble getting the attention from the boys.
Beauty is only skin deep so I'm putting my money on this girl surprising AutoBeast on her delivery as he only has eyes for.....
Northern Lights - Day 38
The superlatives are starting to become more difficult to keep original for this girl because she is just an absolute fucking weapon.
I'll start with something that @autobeast has witnessed for the first time in holding my hand with this grow. One of the branches has mutated and topped itself into two branches which apparently is very rare but looks very cool.
I'm looking forward to when she's done to see just how fascinating nature can be I've seen a couple of finished plants with self topped branches and they look like siamese twins so here's hoping they both come good.
Aside from that both the upper canopy and lower canopy are riddled with bud sites just waiting for a cola to start charging up with goodness. I'm spending 20 minutes about half an hour to an hour after Lights on and early evening when they're all giddy and ready for the day to do leaf tucking and allowing better light penetration to the lower canopy.
Whilst I'm not sure this is having much of an impact its very therapeutic among a house of chaos and I just go in and talk to them. Was a difficult chat today telling them there's gonna be a new girl joining them tomorrow. I'm glad the cards fell as they did with 2 chem instead of 2 Northern I'd have never fit 2 Northern in the tent.
I'm very excited to say that the last Northern Seed has been returned to @autobeast to see if I landed a golden egg seed or if the genetics are set to monster mode. Very much looking forward to that especially after seeing the latest Bruce Lemon Diesel Haul if you're not already check out his Threads for everything you need to know and more.
Anyway back to the Northern Lights lady she along with the other 2 are fed Mondays and Thursdays with Nutes and the rest of time pot lift to water method has been used.
Today was the thirstiest yet for this girl guzzling 4.5l of water in 3 1.5l doses.
This is never a bad sign it's just a shame the water pressure in my gaff is awful so filling water bottles is an event to book in my schedule.
The girls a few days into Preflower now and whilst the Northern twinge is there with a little stem rub the most pungent aroma is the foliar spray I have been using of 2.5ml BioBizz FishMix in 1L water.
Smells like a Fish Tank
Doing the girls the world of good and if not its doing no harm so as I now see Growers have little methods they swear by this is fast becoming one of mine plus it helps with the bonding popping in to spray them and compliment them a few times a day.
It's the end of Week 7 for the oldest 2 Girls and we have the first signs of trouble in the tent so I'm going to start there.
Chemdawg #1 the oldest of the 3 sisters who is on a diet of 5ml of both Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A and B and Molasses has started showing signs of her first deficiency in some of her leaves
Whilst the Flowers themselves are developing nicely I've been into the deficiency rabbit hole after spotting the first signs of it on Thursday after her first Bloom Feed was Monday.
@autobeast diagnosed the deficiency as looking like an Iron Deficiency based on a Macro Nutrient shortage of Immobile Nutrients.
This can be caused in part by a Calcium deficiency from what I've come to understand and so we have been adding Molasses to her water since Thursday although she hasn't drunk much at all since then and the feed today did cause some overflow.
Northern Lights Day 49
This girl is still as happy as can be and has now been moved onto the Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A and B with her Molasses.
Looking forward to this week for her as her bud formations start appearing.
Chemdawg #2 Day 36
Not messing about on her Monkey Nutrients Bloom Feeds nice stretch and good formation though not much under canopy plant is healthy and happy. Keeping a close eye on whether she shows same signs as her sister now she's entered Flower.
Chemdawg #3 Day 9
Strange one this. Shot out about 2 inches her first days and since then hasn't shown much sign of change. Would be quite happy to cull her if she doesn't show promise this week as my FastBuds order will be arriving and can't wait to get started in them.

Another Defoliation at the end of stretch this week for the Northern and she's now in full bud mode at end of Week 8.
3-4 left I think before the chop and she's just a happy monster.
Buds forming nicely on't Chemdawg despite a bit of Nutrient Burn on some of the leaves. Skipped a feed last week and replaced with Molasses only just to help her fight off the excess
2nd Chemdawg looks like she will bud from head to toe a fairly straight forward week for all the girls but started to stink and show their flowers nicely.

It's been a pretty eventful week so here goes.
Northern Lights
Upped to 3 feeds this week which has led to a little nutrient burn to the tips so a molasses feed skipping Nutrients is due but she is fattening nicely 3-4 weeks til flush.
Chemdawg #1
Had her last feed start of week 10 and will now be fed watered until the Trichomes are to my liking. Few nutrient issues but nothing big enough to stump her fattening up incredibly this last week.
Chemdawg #2
Bit of a mutant this one now. She's growing what look like seed sacks but could just be popcorn nuggets so keeping a close eye on her.
Only had 1.5 feeds last week and has slowed down drinking between feeds too. Stinks though.
Chemdawg #3
Topped on Day 18 dealing with it very well but don't think I'll include in this diary.
Strawberry Pie.
Separate journal available currently on Day 8

This was Chop week for Chemdawg 1.
Day 77 above ground and down she comes.
Next up is the Northern Lights who probably has a week then flush and keep an eye on Trichomes.
The Foxtailing Chemdawg won't be far behind she's a genetic mutant Foxtailing from her head to her toes. Should be pretty potent.
Chemdawg 3 is flying since being topped but her and the strawberry pie are another story.
Just thrown a Tangie Auto in too.

Chemdawg 1 is down and being cured.
Chemdawg 2 is chopped and drying in the rack.
Northern Lights is starting week 13 and being flushed. Trichome watch has begun will rack it down at 15%
Fantastic little plants. One genetically foxtailed but it only made her stronger and she yielded more than the normal girl. Both fantastic plants looking forward to the 3rd from the pack which has just entered preflower.
Just a phenomenal plant from start to finish.
For a first grow yielding 160g is just mind blowing.
Very easy to grow long veg period so windows of LST are large enough to have room for error. Lots of Defoliation needed and at its peak was drinking 6 Litres of water a day.
