Fun small auto grow

TangW Hi, I've started a little temporary grow in a walk in closet. These 4 Think Different autos were grown under a 160w veg8 panel and on about day 22 the 2 250w purple LEDs were added. I'm unhappy paying for the electric to supply 500w of china power 18h per day and I'm planning to upgrade to either better LEDs or go back to HIDs. I've grown before under HIDs but I did have terrible heat issues as I have to have a near silent grow due to paper thin walls and peskie neighbours. Stats to remind myself: 35w extractor and fans 160w veg8 panel 2x 250w LED china Total draw from the wall is 702 watts

TangW Babies have been alive 4 weeks today, Sunday 15th April. Lights are turned to 20h per day and this is the 5th day they've had the two china LEDs drawing 500w from the wall ;-( Due to the fact I have bed ventilation I've decided to remove the veg8 from the side as temps were building up and were 34C. Farm to warm! I'm doing low stress, and at the moment I am not too keep on a serious defoliation. Personally I think this can stress a plant but I will keep an eye out for leaves receiving low light and thus will be an useless-eater instead of plant-food creator. I really love looking after these lovely ladies, what a pity it is illegal where I live, the UK. I'm thinking of keeping to a max 4 going at anyone time, which, if I do properly, should keep me in medicine.

TangW 37 days old. I have 4 TD and two are so much taller than the other two. Strange because they all have identical conditions. I did a little bit of defoliation a while ago and all the plants seem to have 'enjoyed' it as they have definitely made more bud sites appear, and the top buds have grown larger.

TangW Sunday is week 7 since birth. I have been taking quite a few side buds off the two smaller plants. Enough to have kept me in smoke for the last 2 weeks. For such immature buds died in my 50c oven, that've been surprisingly effective. I need to remind me that these are my 'fun grow' and even if at the end I smoked most of the flowers that is okay! I realised I've not been feeding these poor plants at all. 70/30 cheapest dirt/perlite. Started Bio Vega I had lying around. Will get some bloom boost stuff. On Tuesday I get my ceramic 315w and I'm soooooo looking forward to 'proper' light. Last year I grew some hydro chillies under these blurple and I just KNEW they were not very good ;-( Sort of put off LED atm, except maybe that 0800 GN ??

TangW About 3 more weeks to go. I've been stealing lower buds to smoke ;-)

TangW Fri 18th May, reminded myself these 4 are to work, they must provide my medicine and I am not here to make nice pictures LOL. I've taken more lower bud and will get them dry and 'cured' in 5 days! Should be better than the 12 hour dry in my oven. So, cool. I love these autos. My are so small, just what I wanted and I will give measurements soon. Flash pics r 25 may 18
