I’ve noticed the first week before my seeds germinated my humidity was only at 50%, I’ve then placed plastic containers over my seedlings and got it higher and they sprouted the next day. Currently my temps is at 26deg and humidity at 57-62%
Watering has increased. Every day they get bigger. I’ve lowered my light by 15cm. I’ve also lowered my fans for more movement on the little plants to get stronger.
I’ve starting with my nutrient feeding on the 06/03/2021. Pro Organic, Environoc 401 and silica liquid. I’ve noticed small black dots under the leaves, it might be spider mites, I’m not sure, I did spray it off, It might have been the soil splashing back on the leaves, but I’ll take a close look over the next few days.
Very interesting week. My plants didnt respond well to the Pyrol/Biodyne/silica combo, I flushed then mid week and they jumped back very healthy. I’ve remove some of the bottom fan leaves, but i’m not going to do much defoliation, will do better clean up next week. Otherwise there is some green fresh smell in my tent. The light schedule was affected by 2h power cuts from fucking eskom, hopefully it didn’t disturb the grow. No sign of flowering yet.
What a fuckup of a week. Wednesday night after a jol I fed my plant and adjusted my ties and accidentally snapped of plant 2, taped her up and luckily she recovered. It did stunt her growth slightly, lesson learnt, don’t fuck with your plants when you’re drunk. 😂
To top that off I noticed some fungus gnat flies jumping on my soil, they’re so tiny. So I decided to add two sticky fly traps, because I couldn’t get yellow cards. I’ve spotted 2 of them allready on the trap. So I’ve waited for soil to dry completely and sprayed 10ml/1L neem oil on the soil.
I didn’t take before LST shots but it was very bushy and had to defoliate quite a bit to expose bud sites.
No sign of flower yet.
Massive stem growth this week and good recovery from last week. I’m always sad to defoliate and stress the plant, but I really want better spread for my canopies. Fungus gnats still present and i’m controlling them with sticky tape. Leaves are very healthy and green, some starting to give a slight purble/blue sheen.
Let’s see how the plant bounces back
What a surprise this week was, I was confused why my “auto” didn’t start to flower and when I re-checked my Seed packaging I noticed “feminized”. 😂😂 Game changer, therefor I lollipoped and setup the scrog. I’m going to push veg stage until I’m happy with my canopy size. I’ve also got my watering schedule correct. Very happy so far.

Last week. I noticed the plant is drinking less water than usual...I wonder how far I should push veg before flip. Maybe week 10? Let’s see
First week of 12/12 cycle, no sign of flowering yet, but plant is doing very well. No major stretch as I hoped, but hopefully next week. Not much to say really this week.
Finally My Gelato Bin Laden’s has started to flower. I haven’t defoliated this week and might need to clean up some leaves to open up the bud sites, i’ll do it later this week. The plant on the left has a lighter green colour to it, bot sure why, I’m not too concerned about her, she get’s the same feed and attention as the girl on the right. Let’s see how they start to change in the coming weeks.
Another week and damn it’s starting to smell nice in this tent. I’ve added some red LED to the mix, this is completely experimental. Would hope bigger bud growth, but let’s see. Pistols are turn amber here and there, definitely starting to mature now.
Humidity is lower this week, which is a good thing now with my plant late in flowering. I’ve defoliated a bit this week to prevent any mold or wpm. Stretched some bud sites apart from each other.
Plant is drinking like normal and feed is the same. Starting to fade now
Can’t believe it’s week seven. Only 2 more weeks with this one. Starting to smell very strong in this tent. Will I start to flush now, maybe.
I’m also noticing some foxtailing on my left plant main cola, not too bothered. Bud sites are getting more dense. No foliage growing, all this plant is doing now is focusing on making dank flower.
I’m super happy about this week.
