Harlequin and White Grapefruit have taken off like a bullet in growth. Sour Diesel is lacking behind a lot and I decided to start up 3x Super Iced Grapefruit, in case the Sour Diesel doesn't make it. Plants are under a 600w Solis Tek CMH bulb running at 400w currently on a 18/6 light cycle. No UVB supplementation currently. Air is being circulated by the inline fan and air is coming in from the bottom ports of the tent. No nutrients being added, only un-chlorinated water @ a Ph of 6.5. Soil has about 7-10% of worm castings added to it.
2/27: 2 of the Super Iced Grapefruit has popped, 1 is still waiting to come out of its seed.
2/25: Starting the Harlequin and White Grapefruit into Veg, Sour Diesel and Super Iced Grapefruit are still in Germination stage.
2/27: Nothing new on the plants that have been transplanted. They are growing their root system, so growth up top is slowed. As for the 3x super iced grapefruit seeds, 2 have popped 1 is still waiting.
UPDATE: I put SIG #1 and 2 into soil.
2/28 Looks like the growth has started again. White Grapefruit #4 doesn't look like its taking to the transplant well.
3/3 Still building a root system, kinda slow because I'm not using a heating pad, because its still being mailed in. All the plants are in the tent now. 6x Super Iced Grapefruit, 2x Harlequin, 4x White Grapefruit. Sour Diesel didn't make it.
I also set up a live stream for anyone interested. https://www.twitch.tv/synfulgrowing
3/4: Slowed growth due to cold soil. Waiting on a heating pad to come in the mail. Plants are doing well, still recovering from the transplant stress from the Dixie cups. Pictures show growth so far at Day 17. Watered with Superthrive and 5.9 Ph water to bring down the last watering of 6.5. Runoff was 6.2 Ph and had a PPM of 820.
3/10: Last day of week 2 Veg. 3 of the Super Iced Grapefruit didn't sprout properly and ended up pushing hard enough to break off its own hypocotyl. So as the plants that currently stand are 4x White Grapefruit, 2x Harlequin, and 2 1/2 (still waiting for one to open up), Super Iced Grapefruit. Otherwise, everything is doing well, watered this morning at Ph 6.0 with a EC of 1.2 (PPM 840). Runoff was Ph 5.9 with a EC of 1.3 (PPM 910). Soil Temp is being controlled at 72°F - 75°F One of the plants is starting its first set of true leaves. Will update more tomorrow on the new week.
3/12 (Day 25): Put two plants in their grow bags, and put some water to it. Nothing to note today.
3/13 (Day 26): 2x Harlequin, 2x White Grapefruit, 2x Super Iced Grapefruit are in 5 gal grow bags. Ran out of soil, so waiting on that for the last two.
3/17 (Day 30) Nothing to note, light watering yesterday. FIM'd the White Grapefruit #2, photo above.
3/26 (Day 39): Let it grow! [Video Added!!!]
3/30 (Day 43): been keeping a close eye on it, going to probably pop to flower soon. Feeding with 1.1 EC (840 ppm [700 scale]) at 6.2 Ph for a 20% water runoff.
Runoff is still reading high for nutes in the medium. Last readout was 1600 ppm @ 700 scale. Ph read 5.9 on the runoff. But the plants arn’t showing signs of nute stress.
Day 45 (4/1): Today is the day I'm going to harvest. She's looking mighty fine! (April Fools). Everything is going good so far, going to probally give it another week then cut clones. After I get a couple clones cut up it'll be time for the flip!
4/7 (Day 51): Set the timer from 6am to 12am [18 hr] to 8am to 8pm [12 hr]. Watered all the plants down with Botanicare Kind Bloom (Ph 6.4, PPM 860 [700 Scale], Water Temp: 68°), and now waiting for the stretch. I'm expecting 3-4 foot with the amount of veg I've done.
4/9 (Day 53): Plants are filling out again after the pruning. No watering needed, checking on clones twice a day to give them air and maybe a squirt of water. (Also snipped 1 clone from Harlequin 1 and 2 and double root compounded. [See above picture with pink on the plug.])
4/10 (Day 54): Did some chiropractic work on a couple of the plants by super cropping. Lets see how it does.
4/12 (Day 56): Soil is starting to dry out a little on a couple plants, will water in the next 2-3 days. So far things are looking good, No burn or dying parts. Clones look identical from last shot, not worth taking a foto. (clones on day 7 today.)
4/15 (Day 59): Watering today, PPM 980 (700 scale): 1.3-1.4 EC, PH 6.4, Water Temp 72°.
4/19 (Day 63): Currently two weeks into flower, flipped from MH to HPS in the flower tent. Octopots are set up in the veg tent. 2 Harlequin clones, 1 Super Iced Grape and a Surprise stain.
