Just wondering what anyone’s take is on the Chloramines and chlorines used in tap water treatment. Are these guys as detrimental to our plants, specifically in a hydro setup, as they’re made out to be? Thanks.

Any sort of dissolved solid or gas in the water can affect things. It’s better to use distilled or dechlorinate before hand. Living soil growers take special heed to chlorine as this can destroy your micro environment.

Can soil runoff from pots be reused?Soil pot run off? besides test for my ph? i have no ppm meter. Normally i use a mix of; Foxfarm happy treefrog(12quart) soil Foxfarm ocean floor(1.5cubic feet) soil Bushdoctor coco mix(2cubic feet) coco/soil New to my lineup is Foxfarm Strawberry fields(1.5cubic feet).

PH meter was wrong So I learned my lesson by not checking the calibration of my PH meter. It was off by .6 and I don’t know for how long. The run off of my plants are right at 6.0. Using FFOF soil. Will it bounce back now that I recalibrated my PH meter or do I need to flush all the plants.

How to know the PH without PH tester Hey guys ! i juste whant to know if you can grow a full autoflower from start to finish without testing the PH in you water :) I have no way to mesure my PH, and i dont use any liquide nutriments, or PH solutions. I have BioBizz Soil Light Mix. Is it a probleme not now the PH ?

Nutrient solution got on leaves Will accidentally getting vegging nutrient solution on the leaves damage or kill the leaves? One of my plants has been totally destroyed by getting insecticide on the plants leaves. Today the other plants leaves were exposed to vegging nutrient watering solution. Is this bad?

Increase nutrition?Should I up the nutes? I’ve been feeding 1/4 amount for the last 3 feeds. I’ve read that after first week of 1/4 up it to 1/2, but from what I can see (foliage pic added) everything looks like it’s quite healthy. Will plant benefit with more or should I stay as I am? Cheers
