QB with LM301's watt for watt is better than hps. You could save money. Basically anything with that diode will rock your world. MiGrow was going on about some new light being more efficient and all sad it is his competition and it was made with lumiLEDs that aren't nearly as efficient as LM301's. DIY QB is your best chance at finding them. You'll save any additional cost in monthly electric bills for 5 years or more.

I ran my first runs in a 90x90x160cm with a 400w hps and a 185 full spec led and was also experiencing some heat issues after three runs I decided to start an experiment with the new generation cmh and I got to say I’m pretty pleased with it and my ladies to..they’ve had quite a massive grow in veg,now they’re making the transition to flower I’m running into some problems due to bad choice of soil.. My light is a dimlux 315w cmh with a boost function to 380w witch is close to the power of the hps but the heat output is far less..my exhaust fan is continuous running on the lowest speed and temps don’t go over 25.3 If the temps do go up in mid summer I can actively cool the light by connecting my exhaust to to 50mm connection of the light reflector I can even hook it up to a controller with Rh,temp and plant temp sensors. the lights dim automatically when temps are going up of Rh Gets to high and you can mimic sunrise and sundown like if your growing outdoors I’m planning to switch al my tents to cmh once I got my bonus @ work Happy growing and stay safe ✌️🌱

Like for example Cree Cobs are getting excellent performance and considered the "best".. But Bridgelux Cobs are getting "less" but still very impressive performance. There is also Velo Cobs which are another great performer.. I am not about promoting my brand or what I am using.. I am about providing good solid information.

Don't get expensive they have the exact same Diodes sometimes even the exact same drivers.. They just have fancy product names and such... all the leds are made in china... Period.. Even if it says it's made in America they are buying China leds and making the lights in the usa but it is still the same stuff from the Same factories..

1 would be fine.. But 2 would give you the next level yields.. And that would be like 300 watts between the 2.

6 feet high is a bit short so may want to go with quantum boad tech. Happy Growing Bdawg, Hopefully this message finds you well, I am have using a 600 w (as labeled) LED for my first time after switching from a 250 Viparspectra (which is very cheap for the price, but you do get what you pay for). Regardless if you want something nice that competes I would go with the growers choice LED or the KIND LED's these I have reviewed will be the best bang for your buck, thats if you want good quality. If you CAN WAIT i would wait and save for a pricier light. I am no light expert I am just going based off what I have read on line and what I have been using throughout that last 4 years of growing. Hopefully this helps Bdawg Happy Growing P.s. Bdawg was my nickname back in the day as well (LIT!!!!!!)

Ideally wana save some electric and want a better yield if possible than a 600 wat hps produces. Hps causes heat issues aswel in summer From uk

Space is a big factor if you have the height I'd go with COBS as they have a fantastic price point.. If you have a shorter grow space you might want to consider Quantuam boards as they have good coverage and can run like 15" from the canopy where as a lot of cobs need 24" or more.
