Just wondering if anybody here has experience in using Spiruline as source of food for the plants? It is an algae with lots of nutrients and beneficial stuff and I am trying to use it for my plant but perhaps I am doing something wrong/useless. Any experience to share?

My girlfriend bought a box and she doesn't like the taste of it (me neither) So I am grinding it and putting it in the water for the plant.LOL. But since I don't know how muck I just go for 1,5 gr per 2l of water which I have no idea if it is correct. Plant seems be happy and healthy, leaves are a nice green and there are no anomalies so far.... Anyway i don't see it as pricey solution for bio fertilizers as you can find box of that stuff on internet for not so much money... 1kg=25 euro.

Spirulina has a very high protein content per gram, so I would imagine it would break down into a lot of nitrogen. It also contains other key plant nutrient elements such as potassium, calcium, iron, phosphorous, and a few other micros. However, using spirulina as fertilizer seems very costly and therefore not financially sustainable. There are much more economical ways of feeding your plants nutrients from organic sources. I think you would be better off just blending it into a smoothie and having your body assimilate all those awesome nutrients 🙂

They call it super food and once you look what's in it you realize there is plenty of stuff good for plants too. I have seen video of people using in for horticulture but cannot find anything linked to cannabis. Now the question is what's the proper dosage? Because I am going blindly now. I just give and wait to see the response which so far seems that more I give more she takes.

I've never used it personally but I did some digging online and seems like a lot of people have had decent results with it. ✌️
