Defoliating FastBuds Autos

Hey Auto Growers. I am wondering what you think about defoliating autos. I’ve had differing results and don’t want to stunt them. Mostly the AH & JH to let light in. I’ve tried tucking but they just pop out in the wind. If yes when is the best time.

Hey friend
I almost always defoliate my auto flowers. I especially do a nice clean up of the bottom as i find i don't have as many popcorn buds and my upper buds seem more solid. But for defoliating your whole plants i would just do about 20% and scout for the most light blocking leaves. Typically they should survive it just fine especially since you're still within the first 3 weeks of flowering.

I'm a big fan of defoliating my autoflowers but I wouldn't suggest do anything but what your doing now since your already in the 3rd Week of Flower. Like you said I wouldn't want you to stunt their growth. Hopefully, I answered your question and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

The trichomes where already white before they become full grown (with tail). I did't the flush yesterday and today almost all the trichomes pop out (with tail). and I one amber thrichomes. how many days do I have at least give them regular water before the harvest the NL? Thanks😊Week 8

How do you guys check your trichomes? What % of amber do you have? Do check for milky/amber on the leaves or the bud itself? I have a microscope but it’s very hard to use unless I trim a little piece of bud or leaf off and inspect it on a table with my microscope.Week 13
