How far should my light be from the plants while they are still trying to breach the surface of the soil? Do i need to put the light very close to the soil so the seed can try to reach it? Thanks!!

Technically when they have yet to break soil light isn't required. I personally kept mine 30+ inches above for when they did break through. 👊

Hi there,
On Veg stage & first weeks ,80cm is good to go, let your lady stretch up and seek for light, then when your plants go into Flowering cycle 50cm is perfect.
Also you can check out your light’s (brand)recommended height in the web to be double sure!

MARS HYDRO TS600 LIGHT STILL ON WHEN TIMER SWITCHES OFFit is a known problem i found 2 forum posts discussing it.
Different timers have been tried but it always remains the same.
Someone said with a mechanical timer the problem is solved I will try that as soon as I have one.
