I missed a few days of watering so the plants look a little droopy, but given that this is my first grow, how is the general health of the plants? How is the flowering going so far?

My plants have had a slight droop both from over watering and Underwatering. When they were under watered they typically perked up fairly quickly after a good soak, also my leaves would feel a bit dry too. Where as when over, they felt full and heavy. You mentioned trimming lower area to boost the light penetration, I think many people would also recommend trimming just a few upper fan leaves if they were blocking your bud sites. They do look a little droopy and tired, I see you're at 24 hrs light, perhaps giving them a 4 hour dark period would give them a bit of rest and relaxation to recooperate. Also you're only 5 weeks in so there's much time left for them to really bulk up and fill in. I really hope they turn out well for you. Happy growing.

all is well. fields with water. sometimes a plant must be given a drought. the edges of the pots are rotted, the light does not fall on the lower branches.

From experience with my Girl Scout Auto *same @AutoSeeds * I simply fed them when the top 1 inch of soil was dry. I used the same 3 gallon pot size, with 1 liter of nutes (or pH balanced water) per feed. If you look through my finished journal you can get an understanding of how much to feed and how often👌 You're doing a great job so far! They don't look bad at all. Keep up the good work fam!👏 I'm excited to see this one finished

They look over watered, which is why they are droopy. According to the information you posted, you are giving them the equivalent of half a gallon per day? If that's true then the droopiness is due too much water. Consider giving them half a gallon per week each plant. Just let the soil dry before watering again and they will be fine, else they roots will drown (too much water prevent the roots from taking oxygen). Both under and over watering present droopy leaves, the difference is that under watering give leaves a dry and thin appearance and over watering give leaves a bumpy appearance..

Don’t worry too much, just get them watered as soon as you can. They’re pretty resilient plants. Less is always more. Let the medium dry out properly before each watering. As for the flowering, by the looks of things you’re right on track, look healthy other than the drooping which will perk up a little while after water like you said you have, so all should be ok! Keep going
