Is this normal for an auto flower to still have not flowered after 6 weeks? This is my first grow and my plants are looking amazing I think but I’ve seen that they start flowering after 4 weeks? Am I missing something here??

Flowering time is always a range. Usually 4-6 weeks but I don't panic until 8 weeks if they haven't started to flower. Luckily it looks like at least one picture looks like the start of flowering. As for yield I think you will do OK. The first Critical Purple I grew produced over 50 grams (about 2 oz) each. I gave more light to force a more compact plant and did LST to keep as many flowering sites at the same height on top, sort of like sea of green method and was rewarded with many, big buds on top. With your grow I think you'll be faced with a decision. I'm sure you will get a good number buds on top but you'll have to decide if you keep the others that develop lower. You can trim the lower ones so the plant focuses on the top buds or just let everything grow and get some popcorn nugs.

I’d defoliate sparingly- only if there’s some big sons of bitches blocking light for others. Tuck what you can and go light on defoliation.

@GrowCN I’ve been lst the shit out of them, n tiein branches down to make them stick out wider and exposed to light..what about the main big fan leaves that grow in veg..I have a photo that’s just started to flower few weeks ago n I cut all those leaves with np.. can I do the same with autos? Or am I better off just tucking those leaves . (I did cut off 2 with np but nervous to keep going)

Your plant looks sweet. Some times with autoflower they veg for longer then breeder says. I actually prefer them to go longer as you will get a better harvest. Yours looks like its transitioning well into flower so won't be long before you see pistils everywhere. Keep up the good work. 👍

Each seed is it's own genetics. I have an auto doing the same as yours. It just started to show its first pistols after 6 weeks. That is a good thing in my case.

Yeah man congrats they look awesome. It is a bit late I supposed for autos but I can tell they’ve started to initiate flowering by the tops of the branches. Also depends when you’re counting from. I count from the day the seed breaks open above soil, some ppl are counting days from germinated date. You’re looking good tho man.
