Baby plants need baby feeding. Stick with half strength.
18/6 is also much more plant friendly, they need sleep and 4 hours is just not enough in my opinion. 18/6 is pretty well the most effective routine and the healthiest one too.
I have found it is far better for your plants to receive a gentle and constant supply of weaker nutrients more often, rather than strong doses less often, which can cause nutrient spikes.
For example, if the nutrients say to dose them every 7 days with full strength, I would suggest half strength every 5 days is more effective. This way your plant gets a gentle wave of nutrients, not a tsunami all at once. They will grow just as fast and without the risk factor of getting burnt.
Remember too, it is very easy to correct a slight under feeding, but very, very hard to rescue a badly burnt and overfed plant.
Hope this helps, Organoman.
