I'm on my 5th day of DWC, I've created the nutrient solution with 620ppm and pH 5.5. I adjust the pH daily to maintain it, but I've noticed that the EC has increased day by day, today it's at 760ppm and I don't understand why this is happening, is it normal? The root is just starting to come out today.

Your ec should be at 400ppm 0.8 ec if it's a photo for her first week, if it's an auto it should be at 200 ppm 0.4 ec. Your ph is best kept at 5.8 for veg. If you see good growth increase by 200 rpm every week until you hit 800ppm for photos and 600 rpm for autos. If you echo is creeping up, add some water. 700 is to high for where your at.

As the water evaporates, it leaves behind nutrient salts, hence the increasing ppms.
5.5 is too low, go with what gmslave suggested.

According to the instructions from my nutrient manufacturer, I can fluctuate between 400ppm and 800ppm this first week, but I’d like to know why it’s increasing. The root just came out from under the rock wool today, it’s not touching the water yet but it does get splashes from the air pump.
I was thinking of changing the nutrient solution at 7 days, but I’d like to keep my EC more stable.

Taming humidityI am having trouble with RH climbing to 65 or 70 at night time in the gorilla tent 2x2.5x6'7". I have infiniti inline 4inch as exhaust at the top of the tent venting outwards. I have 4" circular fan blowing onto the canopy 8" away. 2nd fan in hole to bring in fresh air. Tips?6y ago

Flowering or still vegetative? Food question toodon't know whether is considered flowering or not. Pistils are out, no other bud formation. Should I feed my plants same food as last week or just give ph water and calmag? I don't know if i jumped the gun last week. Promix hp cc is medium, and they only get fed when dry.5y ago
