Did I start LST too early?

At day 22, did I start LST too early? I feel that I may have stunted the growth a little from overheating, but didn't want to wait too long to start training. Also, would a higher-powered light cause less distance between the nodes, and therefore make LST harder/less effective?

I like to have some good lower growth going before i lst. Looking at your plant it's around a week early. A stronger light with a good blue spectrum will produce tight node spacing. You can do effective lst with tight node spacing. As anytime training your plant just be careful.

You can stress train as soon as the cotyledon leafs come out! Also the light distance has lots to do with node spacing! Get the light in close just don’t burn her! She looks good for day 22!

Your prob a little early on the LST but not by much. The more powerful the light the closer the nodes will be.
