by the way i’ve seen people growing 1.5x1.5m tall and wide autos outdoors planted straight into ground.
so its not an outdoors thing imo autos are meant to be grown outdoors in northern climates that why they have been bred. ruderalis genetic is hardy and can tolerate temps and environmental stress that most photoperiods find untolerable.
however ruderalis is without a doubt inferior genetics when it comes to size, potency and yield but with proper breeding there is a happy middle ground that can be found and this plant is not that happy middle ground it seems haha
