Is it weird that my roommates plant is flowering at a month and a half? So only 6 inches long and had like 8 true leaves. How long does he have before harvesting this? How would increase the amount of flower in a plant? And how does one increase the amount of trichomes?

This is why I hate autoflowers! Not much can be done size wise, she will take 6-8 weeks to flower and be ready for harvest, and you might be lucky to get enough for one joint. Trichome production is controlled genetically and you can only ensure healthy growth to encourage healthy trichome production. Autos need 18 hours of light for best growth and generally perform very poorly outdoors. Try growing some photoperiod feminized seeds, then you will get a proper yield from proper plants! Hope this helps,............ Organoman.

I start to flower after a month of veg, the tent size is about 5.5’ tall. I’ve been surprised by sativa genetics in the past were I’ve had to aggressively train so that the plants don’t outgrow the tent...

Hey man she will get sticky on her own theres not really a way to increase her trich formation though if anything more light would encourgae new trich growth. Erm your gunna wanna wait atleadt another 5-6 weeks before this little nug is mature it could be quicker just haveto keep an eye on the trikes and pistils my friend :)

This is probably an Autoflowering strain vs Photoperiod. They typically automatically start to flower around 6 weeks in. You have leaves and flowers coming in, so it's not a failed grow, it's a harvest to learn from!
