Please help me

Help my autoflower is only 2 weeks old the stem is splitting at bottom I’ve managed to tape it up but it looks like it’s dying well the stem just doesn’t look the same now but the top plant seems to be growing will this die ?

These plants are hella resilient! I accidentally snapped off the main stem of one of my autos, did the same thing as you- patched it up- and it ended up not only recovering but being waaay stronger than the other plant I was growing! Consider it a fun experiment :D happy growing!

Thanks the middle looks a tad bit skinny than the top will it be ok there covered up with the tape I’m seeing a change by the hour near enough in growth of the new leaves

Don't worry. You did the right thing by taping it up. Some pictures would help the jugdement. Keep an eye out for any infections or mold, where it was split. Remember, this could potientially make the plant even stronger. It happens sometime if you use HST, and the approach to fixing is the same as you did. It actually happened on my recent grow and it got much stronger at that place and developed stronger stem. Good luck and no worries :)

As long as you didn't badly crush or detach it from the plant, it should have no problem recovering. From what you're saying it seems to be doing great if you are seeing growth on the top still.
