Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etc

Is there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Dont get me wrong, I love Fox Farm’s, and 38/bag isnt terrible. I’m just curious if anyone has found a more mainstream soil that’s as good of soil. I also think their quality has been worse lately

Hello friend,i just use BioBizz soil,you can take one LIGHT and one ALL MIX and you are gonna start with 3/4 from the pot with biobizz all mix and then you will add 1/4 Light mix to help the plant go first to light and then to all mix because all mix is a little bit strong soil for young roots,or you can do 2/4 all mix and 2/4 light mix just the light mix need to be on top..I love this soil because its cheap and good quality always

Can go hydro, or in coco coir/course perlite. It's more matiance the coco, but results are better. 70/30. 5.8 ph veg. Other growing options available as well.

Overwatered cubes in hydro? Too close to the sun? or effect of having addHi All, I have issues with my first hydro grow - i effed up. I think i was too slow in the transfer over in the tank. Light is 200 PPFD, EC at 0.6, and barely added any nutes.

White mold?My smart pot is turning white at the bottom. There also appears to be roots trying to pop through. I put rocks between the pot and plate for air. I have one blade of grass and a tiny weed popping up, so conditions at the top of the pot are okay. Should be worried?

First time testing PPM and slightly panicked :cRunoff was at 2200PPM. I flushed her with 5L of pH 5.8 water. I got the runoff to 1000PPM where I left it. The pH was at 7 though and was higher than before the flush. Why is that? I always pH before watering. Also, is the flush going to cause trouble for her? I kind of panicked.4 years ago
