Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etc

Is there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Dont get me wrong, I love Fox Farm’s, and 38/bag isnt terrible. I’m just curious if anyone has found a more mainstream soil that’s as good of soil. I also think their quality has been worse lately

Hello friend,i just use BioBizz soil,you can take one LIGHT and one ALL MIX and you are gonna start with 3/4 from the pot with biobizz all mix and then you will add 1/4 Light mix to help the plant go first to light and then to all mix because all mix is a little bit strong soil for young roots,or you can do 2/4 all mix and 2/4 light mix just the light mix need to be on top..I love this soil because its cheap and good quality always Hope i help

Can go hydro, or in coco coir/course perlite. It's more matiance the coco, but results are better. 70/30. 5.8 ph veg. Other growing options available as well.

First time testing PPM and slightly panicked :c Runoff was at 2200PPM. I flushed her with 5L of pH 5.8 water. I got the runoff to 1000PPM where I left it. The pH was at 7 though and was higher than before the flush. Why is that? I always pH before watering. Also, is the flush going to cause trouble for her? I kind of panicked.

re-using soil worth it?Anyone with experience (give comparison growth, yield,...).... I use biobizz light mix. Normally, I only have to mix the soil with a bit of fresh soil and worm hummus to activate organic life again. And ofcourse break the old plant material with enzymes first and let it rest

Planting directly into soil with full of other roots? (Outdoor Guerilla Autoflower)The site is full of brambles with dense rootzones. I have dug a hole but its full of roots. Is it OK if I cut down every single root from my hole? Could my plant catch bacteria and etc from the brambles roots? Won't the brambles roots suck away all my nutrient from my plant?

Once seed cracked i planted seed on this soil. Is it too strong for the seedling? Am i already in trouble? xP It's from Geolia, ph5.5-6.5. It says it has guano 200g/m³, and 1kg/m³ of N14 P16 K18 fertelizer and 7.0kg/m³ of limestone. 60-75% water absortion.It composed mostly of peat it seems. Growth I believe this to be mycorrhizae that was moving between pots I had touching and premoistened. Any second opinions? Doesnt look like mold. Puts off no spores when disturbed. Does not have that mold smell. Anyone else ever see this?

Optimal pH for solution, when growing in 70% Promix BX, 30% perlite.I'm having trouble finding reliable info regarding what to pH my nute solution to, I read that some like to look at it as hydro (technically soilless), and others view it as soil (due to being preloaded). So 5.5 - 6 or 6 - 6.5? HELP have done full grow using 5.5-6, peep the grow.
