What is this?

Hard to tell exactly from the photo - the white "hairs" are pistils, so it's definitely a female flower. I just can't tell from these photos whether the bulbous green parts you've pulled off are young calyx (fine), young leaves (fine), or young nanas (i.e. hermie). I'm going to err on the side of caution and say it's just young leaves and pistils, but I would remain vigilant (unless you can confirm the green bits are not nanas, in which case you're fine).
