Old Tea & Daytime Foliar

Is it OK to use my old compost tea? Can it be used as a foliar spray? If yes, can this be done during the daytime cycle? My tea started brewing on 1/5 and it's only 4 days later. The tea doesn't smell horrible and is only 400ppm. It feels like a waste to dump it.

Water the plant with it, I would not spray the leaves, it could introduce pathogens and certainly do not spray with the lights on.

No, compost teas are meant to be use 12-72 hours after aeration for peak microbial activity. After that everything dies off and you're leaving it open to pathogens and other non beneficial bacteria growth.

about old teas cant answer, but spraying indoors under light could be really damaging ... i do all sprays when lights go off. then plants have all night to dry out from shower. even outdoors you spray early morning or late eve ...
